Long time lurkers here on BO. You guys seem to have a lot of knowledge and was wanting your opinion. Do you know what a 2018 Topps on Demand, Dynamic Duals youngsters black Acuna/Soto /5 might be worth? It is a BGS 9.5. Thanks for any insight. Not sure how to post pic but I would.

As a hopefully helpful FYI, I did have 2 active offers on eBay at $1,350 and another at $1,325.

Full disclosure: I own a lot of 2018 series 2 sealed. I do not understand why we have not seen an uptick in wax to match the uptick in bat down sales. It's not due to "rarity" in pulling them as wax sales were very strong last season. When offseason started, the Bat Downs and the wax both dipped some. Bat downs are back with a vengeance but sealed is still just a hair better. I guess it's just a matter of time.

There should be an uptick...but I'm guessing with the turnaround time of PSA grading plus no guarantees of pulling a gem mint one, people are opting to buy them graded gem mints instead. I'm guessing that the wax should see a surge soon especially if both Acuna and Torres both get off to a hot start and the Torres SP pick up traction (so that in a case, a person can pull 1 of each RCs...or is it only one or the other player per case?).

I remember in the summer last year, I asked a question about how often the Acuna falls in a case, because I was looking at picking up a case and stating as such. Case prices were like $600-$800 or so at the time.

then before you know it, there's a surge and they are over $900.

People are fools if you don't think this message board can sway movement in the hobby.

I bet if we picked a random prospect, and started a thread pumping up his stuff and saying how it's a steal to get his stuff, there would be a price surge in that prospect even though it was unwarranted.

I regret not getting a Bat Down in the fall, but ended up adding a Mahomes PSA 10 instead as well as further increasing my player PC so it was okay.
