Purely by the numbers, Atomic, Red, Gold, Sepia as the top 4

2012 Finest is undervalued a lot. Moving up little by little but has so much growth left IMO. I bought a bunch of colors years back, assuming they'd grow quicker then they have. At this point, they basically are PC now and I only sell PC stuff to upgrade or fund something larger.

Refractors. I have Red, Gold, Orange, Green, X-Fractor, Refractor. So I'm missing just an Atomic and Super.

2012 update is undervalued imo some of the parallels have been selling for big numbers.

This is a bit of a contraction, no..? Unless you are referring specifically to the base 2012 Update..?

Base 12 update PSA 10's have been climbing, again, wish I had bothered to get more when they were dirt cheap.

Yeah I guess I should have been more specific. The base 2012 are realitivly cheap compared to what some of the parallels have been selling for.In particular the black and red.

I have to disagree. One of the driving factors for Trout's collectability is his unassuming star factor where he places his team first. What better way to celebrate that than the 2012 Topps/TC card? I think it's a great card other than the horizontal aspect, which is negligible.

The base 2012 TU all star card is seeing over $10 for a centered copy.

Well I got the card I wanted tonight. Apparently I was the only big fan of 2015 Bowman Best Hi-Def cards on tonight. A red /5 of Trout ended tonight. Been watching it all week. Got it for $105 and it comes with an Atomic one too.

Here's a recent pick up. I talked about it a few days ago. Easy PSA 1 or 2.

With just two spots in a single one of Houdini’s Swag bag breaks last month, I had the incredible luck to pull these two beauties. From one of my favorite childhood sets no less.

As I’m only recently (late 2017) back into the hobby after many years away, I unfortunately missed much of the Trout wave — though I still curse myself for not getting more last year. Have one PSA 10 US175 I picked up during a 20% eBay coupon in the fall, but that’s where my early Trouts begin and end.

The past few weeks I’ve enjoyed seeing all the absolute MONSTER collections from so many members of this thread. Just unreal.

Keep living the dream!

This would absolutely ba a concern for me, especially since the card is not numbered. IMO the perfect candidate for trimmers.

For this reason I also pay attention to WHEN a card is graded. The earlier, the better.

You saying the red target for auction on eBay right now is trimmed? If so, proof?

No, I don’t think he was talking specifically about this example. Just general overall concern over the possibility of Target Red being a, err...target for trimmers.
