Got to think that the joker was MJF. Walked like him. I also love the possibility that while he's been gone he's had Stokley recruiting a new stable for him.

Absolutely no reason HOB should have lost and Malakai taking the pin. I can understand why he asked for his release a while ago. Hopefully TK has bigger plans for him but right now HOB looks like a bunch of jobbers and they should be steamrolling people.

Malakai needs to be on his own. He was way more intimidating and better in singles. The HOB thing just isn't there.

WTF is up with Miro? He wasn't hardly involved in that match.

Didn’t we just have a MJF-Punk feud.

What the heck was the squash 10 days ago about? I really hope AEW don’t go all WCW and the top title switches every month.

It was worth $49.99

Although I might disagree if I had to work tomorrow. Was just easy to stay up

Now I'm not going to pretend to know Colt Cabana, Hangman, or the Elite personally but Punk both buried them and came across as a prick in the media scrum.

Yep and all while Tony just smiles sitting next to him. Been a fan since the early ROH days but now I’d be more than happy to see them just let him go. Man is clearly just a miserable human being and if Tony actually jeopardizes his relationship w Hangman and the Bucks to keep him happy I think it would be the only thing that would make me stop watching altogether.

Punk is in business for himself, it’s been that way for basically forever. If it isn’t about him, or getting him over in the end he doesn’t want it

It was obvious when I saw a masked man that it was MJF, the booking last night was atrocious. Jericho going over again, the Jungle Boy match, the brutal way womens wrestling is still treated

Biiiiiiiig MJF fan. Hoping Kahn doesn't mess things up with his return but can only assume he will. Don't get the storytelling aspect of Punk winning the title back after the squash. Doesn't make sense.

Will say again Tony Khan is Dixie Carter 2.0. Daddy gives money to start a wrestling company decides they will be the boss and call all the shots when not having a clue how to run the business and get mad when called out for running the company into the ground.

For this being AEW's WrestleMania, the whole event...post show...lead up just felt like a huge dud. Matches that didn't belong on the PPV, the booking of the PPV was meh.

The ladder match had so much going for it and everyone was hyped around it and it just ends abruptly. I know it's was built around MJF but they could have executed the match better.

Both women's matches were whatever. I'm sure The Acclaimed will with the titles soon but what a missed opportunity. I like Lee and Swerve but I just don't care about them as a team. Other than MJF, The Acclaimed might have been the hottest thing going into the PPV.

Kenny/Young bucks match was decent but do they really need the titles?

I was actually surprised with he Maine event...wasn't a five star match or anything but thought it told a good story from start to end. Figured Punk had to win after the ladder match earlier so no surprise but still doesn't make sense after Punk dropping it. I guess TK just wanted the comeback...hometown storyline instead since people were starting to boo Punk.

The whole press conference thing just came off dumb. TK was just cringe and whether or not the Punk thing was him going into business for himself again or a work came across looking bad for AEW. You have so many eyes and people watching this show and granted, not everyone watched the presser, and that's how you come off?

I dunno, even the whole show it seemed like a lot of the wrestlers looked like they didn't wanna be there.

I believe I said this about 10 days ago in this thread but at some point this is just becoming TNA 2.0. Trying to constantly work the marks, and if none of that press conference was a work, than Kahn has completely lost control (which then makes it WCW 2.0), neither outcome is a healthy situation IMO. You can't constantly try to work your fans.

Yup agree...even if it's a work, they're working their own talent to an extent. Can't imagine being in the locker room and being ok with with Punk is saying even if it is a work.
