FIrst off I will say I am not necessarily looking to have him just sign and then flip for a profit. That's not my style and I don't really need the money.

That being said, does cracking them and Sending them to him somehow make them compromised and potentially worth less? I would think they would be INSTANTLY worth a good deal more at that point.

I got Green and Yellow. I almost pulled the trigger on a Red too but
today is Mother's Day so I had to save some $$$ for mom and the wifey! lol...

all good questions. I have no idea. I am a newbie when it comes to these
cards. Heck, I've never ordered cards from the Topps website.

To some, a card that’s been taken out of the P2020 case either for grading or signing, is 1 less “true” card available for set building. So the individual card might become more valuable if it’s signed, but at the same time someone wanting the value of the cards for set building to go up, could theoretically be rooting for cards to get signed or graded.

Can’t do Beck’s Gooden unfortunately. My money tree is going bare. I also bought an artist proof Brett (Beck’s) and Fucci’s Ripken, Williams and a bunch of Fucci Trouts so gotta know when to say when. Why Fucci, you ask? I know his style doesn’t appeal to many but I like it. Also like Beck, Siff and Blake’s work the most.

This is what I'm coming up with for absolute best case scenario:

Selling price of $17.50

eBay FVF for store subscriber (9.15%), less 10% for top rated seller discount = ($1.44)

Postage (range of $2.74 to $3.18) = ($2.74)

Postage supples (assume 100% recycled) = $(0.00)

PayPal fee ($0.30 + 2.9%) = ($0.81)

Net Cash in = $12.51

Cost of cards in lots of 10 = $14.50
Less: 3% cashback through shopping portal = ($0.44)
Less: 2% credit card cashback = ($0.29)
Less: value of Topps loyaty points - 4 points per $1 spent, assuming they are valued as cash (which I wouldn't...) = ($0.58)
Net cost of card = $13.19

Net loss = $0.68 per card

If you end up shipping to someone further away, don't have 100% free shipping supplies, and don't value Topps rewards the same as cash, the loss per card is easily over $1.

What am I missing?

I think his cards are being slept on tbh. They are also the only cards with the unique glossy texture to them.

His print runs keep staying low and his stuff has been a strong seller.

Immediately know which artist it is, and it doesn’t ever deviate from the original card much which I think will draw “late to the game” buyers to his stuff.
