I saw Scream VI over the weekend. Well done and fresh take on the series up until the cheesy reveal at the end, but the ride was so fun getting there you don't really care, at least I didn't. Lots of unexpected twists and turns, some great scares and it's quite brutal at times.

The reveal fit with the whole re-quel idea. I liked it because I never thought of the reveal and I thought they did a decent job hiding it.

Finally watched Smile. Would have been better without the cheap ass jump scares. People hiding in the shadows and the back ground was creepy and would have mad for a good unique movie but they had to ruin it with the jump scares. 4/10

The Outwaters wasn’t bad—I usually enjoy found footage films—but almost the entire third act took place with just a small circle of light visible.

I wanted to at least catch a glimpse of the massive cow/alligator/snake monster.

As in Denzel/Goodman "Fallen"?

That is a good movie!

Just got out of Scream 6. What a steaming pile of hot garbage. It's almost like a parody now with more laughter and ridiculousness than what was ever intended. The big reveal was a bit of a stretch in my opinion and the killer is getting more and more outlandish (without revealing any spoilers).

With that being said, I'm in for Scream 7.

Just watched “Knock at the Cabin” (streaming on Peacock).

I personally didn’t like it, but my wife loved it.

I’m going to guess you might have enjoyed the book and she would have hated it.

(Read the Wikipedia summary of the book.)

I get the M had to kinda switch some stuff up, but I feel like he’s trying to capture lightning in a bottle like did with The Sixth Sense.

Finally got a chance to see Bodies Bodies Bodies on Showtime and thought it was pretty good. I’m glad I avoided spoilers on this one.

Watched it last night too and it was good enough for me and my wife. Was waiting for the typical mns twist and was left hanging.

Going to watch There’s Something Wrong With The Children tonight.

Maybe Infinity Pool as well.

I thought Infinity Pool was pretty good.

Wasn’t really horror, more of a weird/trippy thriller. Definitely worth a watch though.

Eh, not great.

It was well made and the acting was solid, but at too many points the characters just didn’t act like normal humans. Also, there’s no explanation as what the evil is or what it wants.

I've watched the trailer for the new "Evil Dead" movie about 5 times.

I have to say that it looks a crap load better than anything horror related that's been released in the last year or two.

It's a good sign that it was originally going to be released directly to streaming, but once the higher-ups saw it, it was shifted to a theatrical release.
I'm looking forward to it, and also "Beau is Afraid" from Ari Aster of "Hereditary" fame.

April is shaping up to be an exercise in horror and existential nightmares, and also these movies.

Undefeated, and I mean to stay that way. Don't even try it, son.

Finally got around to watching Cocaine Bear now that it's available on Peacock. Glad I waited until it was free. Drifted off a few times watching it. Needless to say it's no Piranha 3DD

To this day, I've never understood the following of Hereditary. So many holes in that movie, or I'm just too stupid to follow it.
