Card Ladder has 30 sales in PSA 9 averaging $5k.

No clue what it would sell for right now.

It's a 3K ballpark card in PSA 9. card ladder does all kinds of weird things mixing up parallel prices..

Was scrolling through 130point today and noticed someone was able to buy 2018 Bowman's best atomic refractor for $150 yesterday. I was jealous I missed out, but I am guessing I might have gotten the best off season Ohtani RC bargain!

Well if the Ohtani reaches like 20k one day it would help! Unfortunately I have like a 1000 Wander Franco cards

But I agree. Made a ton of mistakes collecting during Covid. I have come to the conclusion there are only a few active players with the potential to be hobby relevant long term. To me Ohtani is the safest active player to collect long term. 3x MVP, WS champ and still in his prime! Should be another fun 9 years going forward.

Covid was definitely a strange time - kind of easy in hindsight to say "I should've bought this instead of that" - I'm definitely still taking some Ls from it

I made similar mistakes when I got back into the hobby in early 2022. I'm just lucky I didn't come back sooner or I'd probably have been even more screwed on guys like Wander than I already was.

Ohtani is the only active player I have more than one slab of in my PC. I do however have a bunch of cheap Mariners stuff in a topload binder.

This Ohtani took a while to get here (I won it December 2nd) but it finally arrived. As a kid, 1992-93 Stadium Club Beam Teams were grail cards. I wanted the Jordan and Shaq soooo bad but a) Stadium Club Series 2 was very hard to find. I only found it once, at a Walden Book Store of all places, I bought a pack with my allowance and pulled...absolutely nothing lol, and b) couldn't afford the singles. I now own a Jordan and when I saw that Topps decided to reuse the 1992-93 design on this year's Beam Team insert, I knew I had to get the Ohtani

Mail day! Anyone else still buying RC Rainbow foils? I keep on telling myself one day pop reports will matter and these cards will go up in value. I am still waiting for this to happen. Maybe this is the year?

A question about Ohtani short prints from 2018 Update. I just traded a PSA 10 Radiating Rookies Jackson Merrill for a PSA 10 Ohtani 2018 Update Warm Up Shirt image variation. The Jackson Merrills seem to be worth a bit more but was willing to take a chance as an Ohtani collector, was this giving up too much? There are pop 410 in PSA 10s on the Ohtani so maybe not that short printed? Anyways I am pumped to add a new Ohtani to my collection even if I had to give up too much.
