I switched over to Star Wars and Marvel when Luka prices got out of control but now might be a good time to jump back in. I went hard on 2nd year before the boom and got out at the peak thankfully. I had a 2nd year dragon I sold for 2k and was shocked to see it at National in Chicago for 800 at the time. Now I see it just sold for 96 dollars and am completely floored. Looks like the nice rookie stuff is staying where it should be though. Prices were a little too out of control back then but now 2k for an Optic Holo PSA 10 sounds very fair. Hasn't all been W's though I let go of an Impeccable RPA WAY too early. I'm a true believer though I really think he is going to be around for a long time. He had a couple of scary falls so far over the course of his career but his playstyle screams longevity. He's not going to blow out a knee like D Rose or anything.

If I could only get one Luka rookie card, the Select Courtside Silver Prizm is the one that I would get. That card looks so amazing!

How do you take a such high-quality picture that captures the rainbow effect of the prizm? All of the auction houses should seriously consider hiring you to take pictures for their auctions.

Yeah he takes great pictures. The 2018 Optic Rated Rookies set he was building was amazing picture quality as well. Did you ever end up moving it?

What kind of camera are you using is it a DSLR? There's no reflection at all while capturing the refractor qualities.

Sorry the delay guys. I really appreciate the feedback. So believe it or not, I use my cellphone (Galaxy S21). I have a corner on my desk where the light comes through the window perfectly to capture the refraction of the card. I have to move it a bit here and there to avoid getting a reflection. I try to keep it as square as possible. Then I crop the card away from the background and adjust the image and add the background and foreground reflection. Took a lot of experimenting to get the results I'm looking for.

That's awesome! In my office pre-covid I found a sweet spot where the sun hit my desk perfectly and I could take shiny photos with no light reflection. Used my a7iii with a 50 1.8 too. I never took the time to photoshop though so you'd always see a blurry recycling bin or printer in the background of my ebay listings lol.
