The Mavs took a timeout at 10:18 up 7. The pels put CJ back in during that timeout. Luka would not check back in until 6:55 down 1. I wished he would’ve checked back in when McCollum did.

They aren’t going to play to win one game in October. But I would like to see him sub out with ~2 mins left in the third so he can come back with ~8 mins left in the fourth.

2018 Prizm Mojo Auto BGS 9.5 just sold on Ebay last night for $4700. I sold this
exact card last year for over $10k, yikes. Considered buying but just don't like those
sticker autos. How are his cards holding up right now?

Like everyone else, his stuff is coming back to reality. As I’ve said for other players, I see a 50%+ haircut ahead for most of his cards.

When a card is hot and going up, that's a good time to run an auction.

When stuff is going down, I think you should only run an auction if you really need the money. For high-end stuff, I definitely wouldn't run an auction unless I was desperate.

But yeah, I sold some Luka last year and was thinking about buying back in. Of course I wish I sold everything, but I bought some Luka stuff back in 2019 so overall still up.

Luka should have a rule where he doesn't shoot a 3 until his makes 2 free throws in a row and then he gets to shoot a 3 at the top of the key on the next possession.

Wonder what his 3% is immediately following 2 made threes.

Glad they pulled out the win. Luka with 41-11-14.

He's now averaging 36-10-9 on the season.

I liked the play Kidd drew up at the end of regulation. Get Luka an opportunity to score in the paint and if it's not there - toss it to a 3pt specialist.

Fun game to watch. Always good to get the W when Kyrie is cooking like that.

Im starting to absolutely hate the fact that he complains so much to the refs on just about every play. He doesn't even get back on defense because he is too busy crying and complaining and it drives me crazy. He has to stop letting it take him away from the game so much. At some point someone has to tell he to stop doing this, its the one draw back he has in his game.

Solid start for Luka. After 4 games he leads the league in PPG & PER. Is 6th in assists. And is 20th (leads all guards) in rebounds, tied with AD and Ayton.

The only flaws we have seen are his rough 3pt% and letting that Suns game slip away.

I really like how he took fewer 3's last night. He dominated the OT period driving and kicking. He is basically unstoppable in that role.

Same. Take a couple to see if he's feeling it (when he's feeling it he's put up 20 in a quarter) but if he's not, then differ to the 3 point specialists and get those assist #s rocking.

I'd like to see more hustle to get back on D. I don't mind the complaining because I think it does typically benefit the team throughout the course of the game, but complain while you're running back on D and during the next break!

We'd all like to see a little less complaining and arguing with the refs but unfortunately i think he picked up that bad habit watching LeBron when he was younger. See's him get away with those calls and it works to his benefit and wants the same. Which is basically all of them. I do think he gets whacked a lot and the calls are missed but so do a lot of players. I guess for his argument if he didn't do it then other teams would probably try and get away with more dirty play and try to rough him up even more. Because they really have no answer for him. We've seen the goon squad go after an injured Luka before.

The problem is it started right from the first couple of plays and he literally watched a player dribble slowly past him so he could whine to the Ref. 1st or 2nd play this was.

Ref's can come after you and make it tough on you if you do this.

Time to grow up.
