As far as paying upfront, back in the 2008's I used to send a paper check with my submissions. Next time I will just send payment with "fill-in-the-blank coin".

My order received 9/22 just moved to post-grading processing!

My grades just popped - these are all cards from a condition sensitive Marvel set (Metals).

(9) cards submitted:

(3) SGC 10 GM
(3) SGC 9.5 MINT+
(2) SGC 9 MINT
(1) SGC 8.5 NRMINT

Super pumped about the 10's. Not sure what I missed on the 8.5. Should have them home in a few days!

Only one submission left but it won't likely get graded until mid November.

Excellent! That looks so good in its tux. Since the card is trimmed, I'm guessing they had a custom tuxedo cut for this?

Looks like it. I've sent a few pre-war to them and the cuts are always perfect. I'm guessing they have an adjustable machine to stamp out that "almost-box" shape after matching the dimensions to the card.

First time grading with SGC. Shipped the cards to them via USPS. Is this typical of delivery, that it's held at the post office? Or will tracking show as delivered?

Your item arrived at the BOCA RATON, FL 33431 post office at 11:10 am on October 28, 2021 and is ready for pickup.

The tracking should eventually show as delivered. I could be wrong, but I always took that status to means it’s at the PO box ready for SGC pickup. Unless their process has changed, you should also get a “received” confirmation email from SGC when they have the cards. I’ve had a few times where it’ll even beat the “delivered” status tracking with USPS.

This has happened to me on the four orders I have sent to them since the summer. I think they pick up the packages daily at around 9:30am from the post office and process them same day as Received. You will likely start your clock tomorrow 10/29/2021 since it was ready at 11:10am.

Thanks for confirming. The address isn't literally a PO Box like with PSA, so I wasn't sure if they're picking up their piles of mail every day or if it would actually get delivered eventually.

That's awesome that they cut the black Matte background to fit the trimmed card. Awesome card looks good in the Tux.
