Thanks man. Congrats to you as well. I don't think I've purchased a new Trout card in at least 2 years now.... which explains how I saved up for a home!!

I hear you! That would really increase prices, as if they aren't up there already

A probstein 2011 BC 175 psa 10 just went for $680. You could have grabbed one in November for under $400!

Funny enough the 2009 BDPP auto prices are still far lower then their ceiling. Namely the xfractors/ref's/base. I think pretty much everything else Trout related is at an all time high!

US175 PSA 10's used to be 5% of BDPP, now closer to 12%! I'm pretty sure if you do a similar comparison of say Lebron, his comparable BDPP auto card sells at about 15:1 base price comparison, not the current 8:1 seen with Trout.

Thanks for sharing this. I did not know the LeBron 15:1 ratio since I don't follow other sports that aren't baseball

Lebron is proven GOAT. Trout still has plenty of work to do!

Some late night auctions just ended all via auction

2011 Sterling base: raw $509, BGS 9.5 $633, PSA 10 $1275
2011 Finest refractor: BGS 9.5 $455
2011 eTopps: PSA 10 $918 and another PSA 10 $810
2011 finest gold auto BGS 9/10 $3,750 ---- I feel like this one is too low or maybe the 9 really does bring it down that much

Last edited by speedyjg13; 03-18-2019 at 10:59 PM. Reason: Changed base to refractor

The BGS 9.5 Finest @ $455 was a Refractor, not base.

The PWCC PSA 10 US175s closed at 750-770. Seems like prices have dipped

That's what happens when you end a ton of the same card less than 30 seconds apart

Yeah. I mean, it works both ways - I have gotten some great deals (and missed out on a few) because of the way they end stuff. I'm constantly jumping from one auction to another on these nights trying to snipe stuff

A buddy of mine joined a break and hit this, sent it my way since he knows I have a Trout PC! I like the description on the back.

I hate that end similar stuff so close. They had several items ending tonight I wanted but I only wanted one of them and they had several of the same/similar ending so close in time. I just had to pick one and hope I won it. I won one and actually paid the less of the two that ended. Lost several because of it and just told myself no on a bunch of the higher end stuff I wanted but didn't really need.

Not sure if this was discussed earlier in the thread, so sorry if it was

PWCC just sold a BGS 10 Black Label 2011 BC Refractor for $4,556.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-Bowman...orig_cvip=true

My guess was it would hit $5k.

This is why I would never sell with PWCC unless it's a very high-end or rare card. Some strong sales last night. Some weak.

Since it seems there are the most eyes on this thread and we are talking about PWCC auctions - did anyone here outbid me on the 01 Sweet Spot DiMaggio PSA 10 Auto?

OMG.

Angels and Mike Trout agree to a new deal - supposedly 12 years and $430M...?!?

It's the end of the world as we know it.

Well...that sucks.

I mean, good for the angels and their fans, and good for baseball probably, but bad for speculators and his WS chances.
