Jeez man, I just got a few cards of his graded too. It seems like it just a matter of time before a pitcher throws his arm out.

This seems about right with the way this season's starting. Bello, Pivetta, Crawford, Whitlock, Houck/Wink. We'll see how good of a pitching coach Bailey is

Is this what it felt like to be a fan in the 80's?

Just go out and sign Jordan at this point on a short term contract

If you listen to what Boras was saying the other day his and Snell price go up with every pitcher that gets hurt

They had only 2 losing seasons in the 80s. The red Sox haven't actually had a sustained awful stretch since the 60s. The difference now is ownership seems to have no plan and I don't see them signing soto and alonso in the off-season

Soto or Alonso would be nice but they don't fill needs. I think the offense will be fine. If Anthony takes the next step this year I think he could be in Boston next season and I think he could be as good as Soto. And I think Casas could be as good as Alonso. They just need to upgrade the rotation. The problem is they dont have prospects that project as front of the rotation guys and there are no great free agent options next year. Maybe Roki Sasaki comes over from Japan next year and they sign him but he'll probably cost more then Yamamoto. So they probably need to trade some hitting prospects for pitching.

I'd rather have potential of Grissom then another 100 or less innings from Sale

For the money he costs they probably should have. But honestly the guy was fully healhty for 1.5 of 5 seasons in Boston. Other that he was good for about 75 innings per season on average. Even last year he was hurt a couple of times. I don't see him as being any more reliable then Sale but for much less money

I bet you the red soxs next move, is to sign Clevienger. We need more bottom barrel pitchers

Bello and club are in advanced talks for extension, the deal would go past his free agency year of 2028

I would gladly take Bauer. He'll be fine in Boston as long as he performs. They've been connected to Clevienger all winter so that wouldn't surprise me. Both come with a lot of off the field baggage but both would probably be good additons from the Netflix series aspect and that's about all we have to look forward to this year. If I was Netflix I would just step up and cover the salary for those two guys, it would be less then they pay actors in some of their movies.

The sports books have the over/under win total this year at 77.5. Not looking good. I also heard it pointed out that now Giolito will definitely be opting into the second year of his contract.

Story scratched from line up with neck stiffness and O'Neil not traveling with team due to calf tightness. Hopefully minor issues for two guys who haven't been able to stay on the field in recent years

Was trying to see how Casas was feeling in spring. Currently sitting at 0-9, small sample.

Getting shut down last year with a shoulder injury had me nervous, but he seems to think he's back 100%, video HERE

Just wondering who is in the radio booth with Castiglione today? It’s at least one very recent player with a lot of personal insight.
