I guess I'm just sour, we had a lady that used to stock every Wednesday and Thursday at 2 stores
Now a new guy stocks randomly and I assume he has a few dudes on speed dial

my target today had football contenders value packs, upper deck series 1 value packs, topps update hangers and upper deck series 1 packs. I passed.

My local Target put up a sign stating 2 sports card products per customer. I doubt it deters many people but hopefully it puts an end to one person buying out an entire stock to flip.

It's an old pic
I used the boxes of illussions and series 2 as a foot rest which crumbled under the weight of my feet, I agree and no loss there
Haven't found any hoops, found a small bundle of prizm though , would love to find even one blaster

Actually Illusions is starting to move up i see blasters hitting $55 as i bid on a few low ones just to track the going rate.

Due to individuals camping the vendor restocks in my area (Boston, South Shore, Norfolk County), a majority of the targets have moved the desirable 19.99 & up sport boxes to the desk behind customer service. Just to ensure that folks don't come in and wipe them out in 5 minutes. I actually sort of like this new method, been fairly annoyed as of late going in with the kids and seeing a bunch of 30 somethings camping the card lots.

Stopped at the wally world by my house last night. Nothing of note in the card area. Empty hanger display of heritage high number, and a clearance hanger pack of 2018 topps stickers.

HOWEVER, when I went to the clearance area in the back to look at some close out bill Murray pop vinyls, I found THREE blaster boxes of contenders football and a leaf baseball prospect blaster. They weren’t exactly hidden, but certainly out of the way from the card section.

Left the leaf in the card section and took the contenders.

Man the only times I've seen football at either Target or Wal Mart lately has been Rookies& Stars hangers, and that was only like 2-3 left.

I haven't seen any football or basketball other than that. since early 2020. Well, I did get lucky one time and got 4 Optic Mega's at Wal Mart in June/July. But shoot, in an entire year, that's it I've seen. I got stir crazy and bought one of the dumb Heritage High hangers and regretted that hard.

Had to go to UPS this morning and Target. Figured the rep doesn’t usually come until after 9 and went to UPS first. Got to target and only R&S, Contenders, Chrome update, Leaf, Pokémon and Prizm Baseball Draft left

lesson learned, ALWAYS Target first lol

Had to go to walmart this morning for some bubble wrap and found these on the shelf, I only bought 2 and left 3 there because they were $24.98. This was it, no nothing not even pokemon. I did pull a Trent Grisham auto from one.

I had accidently ordered these on the website thinking they were standard hangers but figured I'd keep it and not cancel just to see what I got. In the 3 I ordered I got a Stras missing signature, robel garcia throwback uni, and rios action. Pleasantly surprised to say the least.

What's to stop one from buying one, going to their car, go back in, and buy another (via another cashier) and do this a few times?!

Seems like there are so many ways to get around this 1-per rule?

It doesn't. But let's say there's a line of people waiting and the rep doesn't divvy it out and just let's one or two people take it all. It at least helps with that, I guess.

You probably won't see a difference if you're like me and casually go at your lunch break or after work couple times a week.

The hope is the employees would catch on. Reality is nothing much would likely happen.

At the end of the day if you are intent on getting around it you will. they are trying. they can only commit so many resources to managing the baseball cards.
