Just a reminder to eBay store owners to use your quarterly coupon before quarter #2 ends in about a week.

Once it got to the point where I had to start paying for everything they have, I only place orders if I need something. There's no sense in having 1200 bubble mailers sitting around just because they're only $5 for me to buy them. I can just get them later.

The 100 envelopes are $2.02 after taxes for me with the coupon, so I usually get those if I'm well stocked on bubble mailers. In general I'm not a big fan of mailing stuff with the big colorful eBay "steal me" logos on them, but I figure PIP covers it so why not.

Same for me, but it's $2.49

I also don't like the eBay logo, but since I'm completely nuts, I cut 100 1" X 2.5" pieces of paper and tape them over the logo.

Ha, got an email from ebay that they updated my monthly sales limit to 50 million. I thought it was a typo in the email but clearly shows 50 mil monthly limits. They also upped to to where I can list up to 10 mil items too. They must know something about my inventory that I do not.

According Auctionbytes it's site wide. I did not get anything but mine were already insanely high

I did not see any increase either but keep seeing lots of people talk about the increase. I wonder if it’s because I have a store that those monthly limits are not raised. If I was to cancel the store I wonder if I could get the increase in listings?

I have not had selling limits in about 2 years. Shortly before that they raised my limits to $2 billion or 2 billion sales per month.

Thats true but they HAVE NOT HAD ANY OF THEIR Kraft bubble mailers available in over a year. The only thing that is close is the polly bubble mailers. Anything else they offer that is close is garbage.

8x6x4 boxes probably the best thing on there

At this point you might be right. I normally go tape or tissue paper. I used to be able to get 36 rolls and pay nothing. Now I get 24 rolls and pay just under $10 I believe. The only thing the stuff sticks to is itself, I really should just stop getting it. Don't know how many times I tape the bottom of a new box go and get the item and the tape has already fell off.

The 8x6x4 would be a great option for me if I didn't already order them in bulk with my other boxes.

I get the Thank You cards and hand write my store name on them.

I use them to try to get more buyers to leave feedback, especially for ESEs where it may not be as apparent where the ESE came from.

I hear you, I just don't have unlimited space to stockpile stuff that I might use a year or two from now.

Thanks. I think this is where I'll use my next one.

So far I've been picking up the 100 bubble mailers for $13, which is no different on a per unit basis than buying 250. I know this because I can not wait for the next quarter to start seven days from now for my coupon, so I some tonight. Then on the other store where I have to pay sales tax I've been, and will continue picking up 100 PWE for $2.30.

When ebay wad giving the coupons monthly during 2020. I would have a friend tell me what he wanted he was selling 50k a month at tge time. I would order it have tgem shipped to him and he would pay what I paid out plus coupon value.

Foolish to just let the coupon expire.

Did not have to. Had them ship it directly to my friends address. You can put any address as ship to address.

Summer seller update things of relevance
- buyers can now pay with Venmo. that's cool, I'm always happy for buyers to have more options. This makes up a little for AmEx going away as a payment option.
- Terapeak on mobile will probably be nice for people (not me) that mainly use the app
- promotion/marketing stuff just sounds like UI updates, which generally tend to make the UI worse with rare exceptions
- new messaging UI, whatever. at least it looks like its from 2005 not 1990

I noticed Venmo as a payment option a few weeks ago, thought it was interesting but also like more options for buyers.

I've been using the terapeak on the app, kinda cool when you are trying to comp something rarer and no recent sales.
