We just got our league assignments for U12 this year tonight. Not a full travel league, upper level rec league and middle of that (theres Red/Blue/White levels for the Holt Jr Rams, though the Mason Pony League if I remember correctly).

Ryan evaluated at + Hitter and Fielder and Average Pictcher (which is the position he hates the most). So hopefully he'll get settled in quickly as starting Catcher with the extrra work he's put in and hopefully a fun season ahead! Got my Assistant Coaching spot on the team as well, so will have to see how that goes.

Potentially with the asst. work turmoil could be lots of extra practice and coaching time, or I'll be busting my butt to get there on time for practices depending on the day!

The only time I’ve ever used a roller bag was when I played slow pitch on a national team that had a full sponsor. They bought anything we asked for, so I wanted a roller bag with a cooler built in. I had about 60 bats back then. I’d see a new bat I wanted to try, I’d call our “manager”, I’d have the bat at the next tournament.

Made as much, if not more, playing ball June-August than I did teaching and coaching all school year. Every trip, hotel, meal, jersey, entry fee paid. Gas money to and from. Brown paper bag full off cash at tournaments. It was great.
