WWE Discussion thread- Raw/SD/PPV

ER not looking that great after all. Give the 5 way like 40 minutes and make it elimination match, with entrances that's almost an hour. Kendo on pole much more tame than full blown extreme. Hardys vs Sheamus/Cesaro for the 4th time is boring, already had the ladder match at WM. Miz/Ambrose even less than extreme if DQ is title change

matter of fact..wasnt last week the first time they actually wrestled on RAW for the first time in almost 2 months??

It's basically just NXT Undisputed, right? But instead of getting autos of Jack Swagger you get autos of people who haven't made TV yet?

Yep. Probably equivalent of Sage Hit. Maybe at 110 a box it'd be good. Roode looks like he's already in Undisputed, so first autos would be like Sanity, Ember, and AOP. Hard to see anything /25 or more that sells for $30

No it's not. Alexa is by far the best woman on the roster and IMO the second best heel in the company right now just behind The Miz.

Sucks that Braun had to get hurt, but sounds like he will be ready before Summerslam. Only thing I hate now is he was suppose to get the next title shot at Lesnar, but now he will get it at Summerslam, meaning whoever is facing Brock at ER was suppose to face him at SS. Could of been a really great build for one of their 4 big PPVs.

I really hope Seth Rollins wins the 5-way at ER, only because I don't want to see Balor get destroyed by Lesnar. Whoever wins is going to get destroyed since Braun is facing Brock at SS. So you know it won't be Reigns, and I doubt it will be Joe or Bray, though a Joe vs. Brock match would be good. But again, just means Joe gets destroyed which helps nobody.

Alexa is the best on the mic for sure, but in the ring she's still somewhere between a train wreck and below average.

We're in the "Nash 2.0 years." The company's top guy is clearly no more than a place filler with minimum charisma that will be pushed aside when a real star eventually appears. Might be a while... It's the down portion of the roller coaster. Wrestling history always goes through this.

Raw was better then it has been, but WWE has been very boring for a long time now. Even leading up to and through WrestleMania, there has been nothing that has really got my attention (I did mark out for the Hardy's return, but that was a surprise with no anticipation for it coming.)

It's sad to say but watching Raw has really become a chore lol. Only reason I watch it is because I DVR it, however I'll turn it on around 9:30-10 CT and fast forward through most of it, so I'm done around 10:30 or so. I don't watch Smackdown, though a lot of people say it's the better show. I just can't dedicate 2 more hours to WWE, and like I said I already have RAW taping so I'm just too lazy to make the switch!

Even PPV's do nothing for me. Last couple months the only PPV's I've watched are Royal Rumble, WM, Elimination Chamber main event match, second half of Fastlane and maybe 30 minutes of Payback, though I really wasn't watching I only had it on. WWE isn't supplying anything of interest. Again, it gets back to WWE is the only big dog here (I don't think they view New Japan as competition, and nothing else here in the states comes close) so they don't have to try at all on TV, and because they have a network now they don't have to sell $59.95 PPVs every month, so the PPV's are always bland and uneventful.

I complain, yet every week I tune in so obviously WWE isn't going to change anything if they can continue getting people like me to keep coming back. However, the numbers are starting to get real brutal. Raw last week again under 3 million viewers. That has to be alarming imo. Numbers keep dropping, yet no effort is being made to spice things up to attract those viewers to come back and even gain new viewers.

RAW just seems pointless to watch over the next year...

We all know they are building to Reigns vs. Lesnar, which means nobody is going to beat Lesnar between now and then...

Balor wasted, Rollins wasted, Wyatt wasted...

Strowman vs. Lesnar might be interesting to watch, but you know the outcome...

Balor and Wyatt COULD be entertaining, especially promo wise, but I have ZERO faith in the WWE to let them do what they can do...

At least on Smackdown you know that anything is somewhat possible, Orton can lose the strap at any time...

My only frustration with Smackdown is that they are wasting Harper... He was getting some pretty decent crowd reactions after his matches with Orton/Wyatt and now he's relegated to barely being on TV or fighting Rowan...

Smackdown is worth watching just to see the Fashion Police skits. Best thing on Smackdown now.

The product is a shell of its former self. It's really that bad. Boring, predictable stories, no real mega stars, same old crap every week. It's just not interesting.

The brand split was also a terrible idea. They don't have the talent. And as mentioned above, we all know that Vince's wet dream and Brock are happening so why tune in?

Wrestling is fake. We know this. But if you can't build INTRIGUE your product is done. Clearly the market is now little kids. That's it. How anyone else can enjoy this garbage is beyond me.

The woman's division has gotten really bad as well. Its really tough to watch most of their matches. The tag division is really bad. The singles division changes so much week to week on whos good and whos bad and the 50/50 booking on win/losses. WWE has a lot of work to do.

LOL I do the very same thing with my DVR, I start watching around 9:00 p.m. my time and end up fast forwarding and done by the time the show is over.
