I wish Topps could make Heritage for Basketball. That would be so cool.

Been considering going in on a case of Heritage … those who know better than me: Is it worth it at the current price point? Is that price more likely to rise or fall going forward?

I love Blowout and I'm honestly glad they are running an exceptional business, they really do a great job. It's tough for guys who don't break on a large scale and profit off of group breaking. The presale price of Heritage this year is absurd to me, as was the price of Series 1. At the same time, I had every opportunity to lock in at lower prices. How series 1 went from $550 to $850 in one day, I will never understand. Maybe the demand is really there these days. |

Unless Topps changed something, You should 100% get 1 full master set. You’re likely to get another give or take a couple cards and a third that’s very close to full. Unless you get unlucky and get the same inserts in all your cases

To be more specific, if it’s like the past couple years:
You get 96/100 SP’s per case. Sometimes there are a few doubles so you might only get 92 different cards and a few duplicates. You’ll get all of most of the insert sets. The last few years the duo cards have been sets of 15 and you only get 12/case. The other insert sets you’ll probably only miss a card or two. |

Has anyone seen images yet of the 2020 Heritage hobby box? I know the blasters are up but always get excited seeing the images of the hobby box.

The more they can sell higher than the original buy-in orice means the more they can scurry away for future years for free. Why sell something at $70/box when they can wait a year or two and sell it for $200+/box? Distros are the worst. Arthur |

That's impossible now because they only hold the license for MLB. What I would like to see is an Archives/Heritage-type product utilizing Topps' old basketball/hockey/football designs. They've used them occasionally for inserts in Archives, like the 71-72 Hockey inserts set, the 71-72 basketball insert set, and the 1965 Football insert set. |

I'm bracing for that, myself. Preordered a case back in November for under $900. The seller had good FB, but no history of preselling product. They've since gotten FB for Update presales, but I'm waiting for the runaround. Considered backstopping with another case from a more established wax seller, probably can resell it easily if the original seller comes through, and provided I don't break down and open it. Just getting too hyped for Heritage this year.
