And even Magic admitted Jordan was the most talented player by far.

Could you imagine a Rookie coming in right now that is better than LeBron, KD, Steph, Giannis and AD!!

Imagine that hype!

Who else do you think will gain some collector hype from this docuseries. I think Dennis Rodman will - He's still relevant today, he was a polarizing figure playing against and with Jordan, and I think he's gonna have some really interesting things to say during his interviews

How about my guy Chris Anstey???

Took it to Da Bulls as a Rookie.

http://www.aussiehoopla.com/chris-an...chicago-bulls/

This is actually a great read and Don Nelson breaks down the game at the bottom of the article.

Basically Dallas were down 17 in the 4th and then still down 10 with a minute to go and it went to OT.

Like the Cowherd take.

I'm realizing more and more that the difference between MJ and Bron is the priority each puts on winning.

Michael chased Bird and Magic. All those two guys wanted to do was win. To be better than them, you had to win win win and win some more. That's how you got respect from them, how you joined their ranks. MJ's singular focus was winning.

For LeBron and most of today's NBA, they are chasing Jordan. But they see Jordan as an icon, as a brand, as a billionaire. So that's what they want to do. You listen to them and they're about building their "brand."

Winning is important, but most of them aren't going to kill themselves to get there. They want to win, but they also want to make sure they have a shoe line, clothing line, production studio, endorsements, etc...Their focus isn't singular.

LeBron says stuff after losing like "At the end of the day, all the people who want to see me fail, they gotta wake up tomorrow and have the same life they had when they woke up today. Same personal problems they had today. I am going to continue to live and do the things I want to do and be happy with that."

MJ would never say that. When they lost to the Pistons in 1990, he supposedly got the team together A WEEK LATER and they worked out together all summer to get ready for the summer.

I think LeBron is great. An all-time great. But he isn't MJ.

Absolutely loved every minute of the first two episodes.
Can't wait for more. A few takeaways...

When MJ was asked during his Rookie season how's the transition from college to the NBA been he says, "Well, I think it's been pretty easy". (Such confidence)

Excellent choice of music so far. The highlight montages have really been enhanced by the song choices.

So much early career footage that I have never seen before, like when Jordan is absolutely furious about being pulled at the end of a crucial game against the Pacers because he hit his 14 minute max. Never fear, John Paxson to the rescue.

I never knew Pippen was a walk-on and received no offers out of high school.

Not sure how D Rose got brought into this, but that's a pretty unfair assessment.

Injuries took his perennial mvp career away...not his attitude or ethic. The fact he's clawed his way back to be a borderline good player says a lot.

He could have easily hung it up years ago and been set for multiple lifetimes.

Not quite true.

There were times he sat out when he could have.played.

He had the line "I want to be able to play with my kids someday" which rubbed people the wrong way.

He copped a bit of flak for a lot of this kind of talk.

But I do agree Rose has had a great comeback and is changing that narrative.

I remember that. I also think that's just the media being the media and looking for another headline and character to assassinate for clicks.

He was still dealing with a lot of uncertainty at that time with his health and status of his knees. I'm sure that's emotionally taxing, regardless how much money someone's making. Just look at all the football players retiring early these days after key injuries. Sometimes you have to weigh your quality of life in retirement against the love of the game. In any case, I'm glad he's come to a point in his career where it seems he's turned a leaf avoiding major setbacks.

I'd say his biggest scandal was the whole 'rape' allegation that was eventually dropped, just like Kobe. Probably something a lot of people will continually bring up once he retires and people celebrate his career.

And that’s exactly why I think Kobe is the only one player who would ever get closest to the greatness of Michael Jordan - In Kobe you could honestly just see that hunger and drive to win

Default Chicago Bulls "The Last Dance"

Jordan inspired greatness in other future greats.

Love this interview

It was fun watching pre-MVP Ichiro getting all giddy about meeting MJ.

My sleeper pick was Charles Oakley. He was MJ’s heavy. This was mentioned in the doc but not prominently featured really. Still a chance though. MJ a was PISSED when he got traded and there’s still several episodes left.

Could have watched all ten in a row if I could. Thinking they might cover the wars with the Pistons and jump forward to Rodman joining in the next two episodes.

Also just lol at the thought of the GOAT only having $20 to his name in college.

It is funny that Cowherd and others have made note of the Bulls 9-7 start without Scottie. But they love to leave out that they were 24-11 by the time he came back..

Yes I just watched it for the 2nd time.

And don't ever tell me those Bulls teams were deep and stacked. A lot of guys that hardly played, ever.
