Site already crashing ahead of this pack release. This really does feel like a pump and dump situation. The market is there for digital cards. I think the way Topps did it was good and I enjoyed collecting the Walking Dead cards when I was really into the show.

I don't know why Panini and the NBA wouldn't just copy that.

what about cashing out with crypto?

I was a bit peeved because before signing up I thought paying with crypto meant no fees, but they still take their cut of course.

I'm still waiting on a reply to my email I sent Topps in June regarding P2020. Everyone always hates on Panini when Topps does the same exact sh*t lol.

And I sent them that email because there was not a single purchasing option that would work for me on their horrific site - and since I never got a reply I just had to resort to ebay sellers or here if I wanted the latest release

Nothing is working right now so I can't continue to test but here's what I got so far.

I was able to scrape some IDs but not all so all players aren't added yet but I can search by player and I added some functionality to search by the limited sets (thank you top shot for adding the filters as url params). I then load all of the LE players selling for $1 and calculate the average listing prices.

Whatever the highest average selling price is I have my bot buy that card.

Doesn't make any sense to add functionality to buy packs because their servers can't even handle anything right now.

I'm with you in this one man, the question is whether I should keep a Series 2 set, sell my big three players or what. Series 1 seems to have the best return right now. As someone mentioned, my concerns going forward are:

Is this going the route of P2020 or is it meeting a need and the community/experience will support it going forward to see more gains?

What up with that cash out percentage that someone mentioned above? Youch

Edited to add: ALL the moments I posted last night prior to going to bed sold within an hour.....AND there were 10,000 packs available as well...all gone...demand is there....

Ok, so remember the Barrett Rookie/50 I got last year? I decided to put it up for sale last night at $1750... guess what? It's gone and cash is in my account.... WOW!!!! Now I might have to put my Ja Rookie/250 up and see what that can fetch.... Dear Lord....

I never even knew or seen P2020. But i think this NBATopshot has the crypto / coinbank sector on its side.

The "gas" fees are high. I am in the process of opening a Coinbank account to eventually use with NBAtopshop.

I am new to all this crypto stuff. Learning like everyone.

This has huge potential as all these "flipper" groups are coming in now.

PS: sold a couple of my Lamelos and bought Zion rc. like trading. Looking at Ja and Barrett.

2nd year rookies(S2). Zion is over $50. I was buying at $6-8 a couple of days ago. Like with cardboard. I think when the rookie gets expensive, people start buying 2nd years.

So is there any value in me holding my packs sealed? I only got 5 of the whatever series 2 was available yesterday before the crash. I haven't quite figured out yet how to search for sealed old packs to see what they're bringing.

Yeah, just gotta get someone that wants to open them down the line just like regular cardboard. The odds arent very good pulling anything less than /9000 though, so HODL is good.

Congrats man! Big sale! I got in late and would've loved buying those limited packs. I'm a little shocked right now what's happening. Just the Luka's from Series 1 are about $400 now. Those alone might pay for everything as of right now.

That's about what I figured. I have no urge to open them really but I'm sure others do/will and as this gets more popular it probably won't hurt to be holding sealed.
