He had some peaks (Pro Bowler, Super Bowl champ, almost 7k career receiving yards), but it seems like he couldn't stay healthy for 16 games most of the time.

This is Berry telling the fanbase that he was never going to pay Baker long term. He's telling us that even if Baker came back, and had a good year, that he's moved on. He wants his own QB (remember Dorsey drafted Baker). He has no interest in being tied to him long term and having to debate whether to pay him 180 million over 5 years or whatever

He doesn't want a Jared Goff situation if Baker did come back and take the team to the playoffs. That alone won't sell him on what he's seen

He wants to roll with Graps/Mariota/Winston for a year or two, find his own QB, and ride the talent that "stop gap" QB would have around him in the OLine and at RB

Watson was just a way, albeit a bit strange way, to prepare everyone

I don't love the way Berry handled the situation (and wouldn't want Watson on my team), but props to him for making sure the Browns don't end up in the same QB purgatory that a lot of franchises get mired in. Either go for it or suck, don't sit anywhere in between.

That's fine. Rock didn't do a ton of the Colts. Seemed like he was constantly getting flagged. 2 INTs in 41 games played.

That's not for me to say, I do not run the Giants.

All before the Giants brought in Tyrod. Clearly they werent happy with Jones, and having Webb back him up, if they dropped millions on TT...
