Heard his back was a bit tight, I believe taking him out was precautionary as well but it's defintiely something to watch. Hopefully nothing serious.

Gomez drops appeal and will be out till friday. Only dropped since he was having back spasms. Smart to take it while he wouldn't be playing anyways

Delighted to see Melancon cost my fantasy team a save - the Buccos have been generous to the Crew in the 9th so far this year. Great to see Rickie coming through recently, hope he can continue. Big hit for Davis too, he needed it.

Klutch Davis strikes again!!

Considering this win not only won the series vs the Pirates but also gave the Brewers a 5-4 homestand, this win is monumentally huge. Mark Reynolds saved the day and drew a huge walk in the 9th. Wooten gets a win also.

And Brewers are 7-0 or 8-0 when Maldonado starts too now.

But yea winning without Ramirez and Gomez is a big one.

Lucroy with an 11 pitch battle then wins with a single scoring segura. 2-0 brewers now after an error on Castro. Braun out of the lineup today also

You gotta feel for their pitcher.

Shark has been the pitcher with the most bad luck all season so far in the entire Majors.

No Gomez, Braun or Ramirez for Shark to face today, so he does have some luck!

Gomez is an idiot and is to blame why he's not playing, Ram is injury prone and Braun hurt too?

Cubs are doing awesome this year at making people look better than they actually are and Shark continues to get no support.

Crew continue to show off their depth by winning again without Braun, Ramirez, and Gomez. Then again it was the Cubs...

While Jackson and Wood both pitched extremely well for the Cubs, and the Brewers were without, this should have been a series win, especially after winning on Friday.

Bianchi and Herrera in the lineup everyday is just terrible to see.
