Shuey's don't make sense based on cert numbers, unless you're saying the PSA 8 preceded the 7. But the borders on the 8 are narrower.

I'm saying that the cards are the same. As far as I'm concerned, it's much more likely that the certs went out of order than the possibility of those being different cards.

ETA: Especially when the difference is in the third digit. I'd like to see any evidence that serial numbers are assigned consecutively based on date graded.

Ok. The markers line up. I just haven't seen those go out of order in that range before. The after picture has awful pixelation of the face. May just be a scanner thing.

PSA Cert #40927107

1909-11 T206 Tim Jordan BROOKLYN, BATTING

Value gain of $740.00

This card was purchased by whitman111 (Gary Moser) from PWCC as a PSA-3.5 on September 10, 2017 for $71.00. PWCC Marketplace link: https://www.pwccmarketplace.com/items/1539622
Same card was sold by PWCC as a PSA-7.5 for $811.00 on July 08, 2018. PWCC Marketplace link: https://www.pwccmarketplace.com/items/1686689

Yellow circles are print and scuff mark identifiers.
I can't see anything that has been done to allow this card an enormous grade bump. There is no mention of flaws in the original listing so there is no way to know. Nevertheless it's a Moser card and we know he likes to touch them inappropriately.

Anyone going to put together a set of altered 48 Leaf football? Card #5 is going to be tough, but otherwise, so far, so good.

PSA Cert #40814493

1962 Topps Football Jim Taylor SHORT PRINT #66 - Population 1 of 2 - None Graded Higher

Value gain of $6,379.40

This card was purchased by whitman111 (Gary Moser) from PWCC as a PSA-8 on September 24, 2017 for $208.60. PWCC Marketplace link: https://www.pwccmarketplace.com/items/1550115
Same card was sold by PWCC as a PSA-9 for $6,588.00 on July 22, 2018. PWCC Marketplace link: https://www.pwccmarketplace.com/items/1696731

From the PSA-9 listing description: "Elusive short print in PSA 9. This freshly graded stunner is one of just two to reach the elite assessment and is impossible to improve upon. Pack fresh with deadly sharp corners, beautiful centering and undeniable MINT card stock. Displays chip-free edges around; a rare quality for the black border issue."

Yellow circles are print and scuff mark identifiers.
Red squares identify one spot in the sky background minimized, at least one spot touched up on the black frame in the middle of the front and the edges either touched with black (my belief) or minutely trimmed.

PSA Cert #:22581797

1951 Parkhurst #1 Elmer Lach PSA 5 to PSA 7

Sold on 12/29/2013 as a PSA 5 by eBay seller jac1504 to whitman111 (Gary Moser) for $330.00
Consigned to PWCC and sold on 4/9/2014 as a PSA 7 for $1,725.01
Value gain of $1,395.01!

The corners have been sharpened on the '51 Parkie card of Elmer Lach. This was done by slightly trimming the side edges. The purple rectangles focus in on these sharpened corners. The red circles on the back are paper fibers/print marks unique to this card.

PSA Cert #:27581393

No back photo was provided by seller authurcurry, but there are enough frontal unique identifiers to confirm this is the same card. Left edge has been trimmed quite a bit, as shown in green. Blue shows highlights these unique identifiers.

I'm almost positive this is correct but since my memory is as reliable as a PWCC listing description I reserve the right to get a minor detail wrong here. The first three digits in a PSA cert do not run chronologically. For instance, there have been some certs that were thought to be retired (I think one was 400-number) that was originally used for single event (like a National or some such) that they have brought out of retirement and began using again. I would assume the first three digits are therefore an identifier of some sort, be it internal or something more basic. I know way back in the day the first three digits used to be assigned to specific graders but they did away with that many years ago.

Anyway, long story short, the fact that the first three digits aren't "in order" doesn't mean anything. They're not chronological.

I found 5 T206 Green Portrait Cobbs that Moser bought but could only locate 2 "afters" that got resold by PWCC. My guess is my eyes aren't as good as yours at picking out the alterations. No way he took a bath on 3 Green Cobbs.

Makes so much sense following the HUGE "run up" on this card. Who knows how many cards were bought outside of PWCC, to be altered and listed through them.

Oversized cards are an easy target.

51 Parkies don’t have rough cuts though...PSA is clueless.
