So one of the esteemed mods of the DapperDiscord is also using bots? Seems that should result in a ban, no? I guess since he's probably in the "in" group of Dapper he won't face the consequences other plebeians will.

If we were talking a couple hundred and you just went on a buying spree for a few hours I'd say it's believeable but we're talking thousands in a short amount of time. An 8 hour day of doing nothing but buying moments would net you 1,920 total. Assuming 100% uptime and little to no variance in page load time.

There are tons of facebook , youtuber, IG etc doing "raffle/waffles" whatever they call it. Nobody mentioned getting banned. Check out the groups if you want to "cash out".

Good luck to everyone when the MarketPlace opens. Hope the do the LE also.

Anyone interested in Top Shot, do you're own research and don't put any weight on what some in this thread are saying. Look into Dapper as a company and make your own decisions.

Is there a place where people can interact with the leaders of this project? There are a few things that are perplexing to me:

- Using bots, which immediately increases the number of transactions (and as such, fees and revenues), is banned.
- Besides an initial deposit to buy packs, you can make every single sale/purchase off the platform (no revenue in fees for TS)
- Average value of packs seems to be 5-10x of the value of cards (someone can correct me on this, I think these are fairly conservative estimates)

All of these seems like a huge loss of revenue for them. Why do all these things? Seems like they can easily charge 5x for the packs and people will still be eating them up. Is the strategy to build a huge market first and then start increasing the price on packs?

Yea of course Dapper could give a crap less about people selling $5 moments offline but they do have a problem with high value moments being sold offline.

Why not spend that much time. I now have $600 in dapper and about $300 more in cards. I did that with minimal work from Monday. The people who are putting in the time now will reap huge rewards IMO.

I think what the whales/groups are doing (i would do it to with multi million ports) is have multiple computers with partners,teams,workers that buy and sells 24/7.

I had a Desktop, chromebook, iphone working at one time and i am a small fry member.

This is just my opinion how i would scale up when it becomes that type of valuation and potential. Basically turns in to a 24/7 business.

You don't get the point. I'm telling you it is not physically possible to purchase 3200 moments with his "method" in 3 days. Nobody is spending 8 hours+ a day like a robot clicking through and buying listings for 3 days straight. That's also assuming that you don't even leave your computer. Even if you said he spent 12 hours a day doing nothing but buying moments it's still not adding up

I agree with that. A high percentage of my purchases also weren't processed because other people beat me to them. The bots are out in full force.

Yea I mean, libruary unintentionally outed himself I just find it funny he shared some video and it took him several minutes to buy a handful but wants us all to believe he could buy 3200 in 3 days

Yeah that is definitely the longest part. You would think the resource he uses would have a way to only filter by moments that are for sale.

800 minutes (13 hours) it would take to buy 3200 moments plus about an hour for the second part of the process. Really not that insane considering the profit you can make from it.
