Come on ninja. They got rid of players who won't (or shouldn't) make a championship rotation for one that should (if healthy).

I was kind of hoping the Cavs wouldn't make a trade, but I'm glad to see this one go through. They shipped Levert fresh off back to back games in which he shot 0-13. Niang's 3 pt shooting will be made up for by Hunter's, and his terrible defense will be gone.

Plus it allows us to go after someone on the buyout market.

> Kuminga can't stay healthy
> no reliable secondary scoring
> Dray's old

Makes me wonder how long Steph plays. He's almost 37 and there's no bright spot for their team trajectory. I wouldn't think he'd want to play another 2-3 years being a .500 team and getting bounced out of the play-in every year.

Yeah I agree..probably 2-3 years. I'm not sure how precipitous his falloff's going to be next year, but his legs look shot. Don't think he'll want to do the journeyman 6th man tour, either. At least I know most fan's won't want to see him go out like that.

The question probably becomes if he wants to retire a Warrior or go help some other star ring chase.

I'm sure there are places he could be a difference maker.. but does he want to be #2 or 3 on a team to do it?

As a Steph fan, I hope he just goes out as a Warrior. There's something special about players that are with one franchise their whole career.
