Lowes is 10 minutes from our house. It took me 45 minutes to get home. Traffic was terrible. Grilled and made dinner. Cleaned up the kitchen.

I hate HOAs and I would never be on a HOA board. I don't care what my neighbors do with their property as long as it doesn't extend onto mine.

The rain was so heavy and so much of it came down last night that it overwhelmed our drain and sump pump and we lost about a quarter of the carpet in the basement to flooding.

Thankfully, the middle SD was over, so her, my wife, and I cut it and the padding up and took it outside. My SIL is going to pick it up today and take it to the dump.

I really hate home ownership. Another expense to pay for.

Of course the flooding situation led to an argument in bed as I reminded my wife of all the things we need fixed around the house and yet she is spending $6800 this year on the youngest SDs car insurance and wedding and who knows how much money she has sent to the out of work drug addict oldest SD.

Haven’t you only been in this house for like a year? Usually people renovate when they move in, they don’t wait this long.

Best part of being in a HOA hood is that you don't have vagrants with weed filled hay fields like BoNut Gardens or The Compound

My HOA also capped the total subdivision rental units to a max of 5 a year or so ago. Great success.
