Memphis with the 1% is gonna go up eventually, right? Like I feel you’re still going to have them at 1% even if they make the Finals.

happy second round tip off you all!!!! during the season i would have been able to make "easy" picks with these matchups but now with health and the performance through the first round i think every series is up in the air. should be fun.

Here's the odds of winning the title from FiveThirtyEight:

Celtics - 36%
Suns - 29%
Warriors - 8%
Bucks - 7%
Heat - 7%
76ers - 6%
Memphis - 5%
Dallas - 2%

Their odds for this round:

Celtics 75% - Bucks 25%
Heat 55% - 76ers 45%

Suns 79% - Dallas 21%
Warriors 52% - Memphis 48%

Personally, I think they've got the odds for the favorite too low in every series except for Celtics-Bucks.

Suns should be at about 90% to advance, Warriors at about 75% to advance, and Heat at about 65-70% to advance.

They've got the Warriors with only a 20% chance of making the Finals, which is too low.....should be about 30-35%.

Get a late night game treat here in my neck of the woods! Looking forward/pretty fizzed to watch that Celtics defense vs Giannis...

Way too high for PHO in rd 2. Dallas had the 2nd best record in the second half of the season. Only 1 less win than PHO.

oooooh this is gonna be a great series! Intriguing matchups across the board. Battle of the serial irritants Smart vs Allen for example...

Whether it's because he's fat, lazy, efficient, or because of superior basketball IQ, he doesn't play defenders all that closely all that often. He's less likely to land on someone's foot, land awkwardly (because he hardly leaves the floor), knock knees, get an elbow to the face, get arms tangled up and have elbows shoulders wrists or other joints get torn out of alignment and whatnot (like that time Kelly Olynik did to Kevin Love juuuust before the '15 Finals leaving Bron with just Kyrie as next option at that point?), land on the floor on the baseline on some important part of his body after diving in the air to block a shot, etc.

Getting the gist yet?

Suppose Philly could magically switch out EmMVPiiiiiiiiiiiiid with Jokic right about now. It wouldn't be James The Beard Harden as their one and only big playmaker right now. They'd also play that sloppy fat boy Joker eating pie and cake all game/day long while getting dragged up and down the court by Adebayo for ~34 minutes of sloppy inefficient tired-out play, getting just run past and dunked on by Adebayo while providing no offense at the other end, just a few nice passes here and there and being tall he can get a few rebounds and shots in from time to time.

So yeah, you're basically missing out on having that as your Center in Round Two, ya flamingly one-sided Sixers fanboy ya. You missed out on the whole point of Joker's strategy and one of the key facets of MVP-ness: availability. I guess Joker just needs to take better care of his fat tender marshmallow frame more than the hefty invincible Embiid, huh?

So I ask again: is that the best you can do? At long last, have you nothing of value to contribute (as well as decency), sir

(what's the over/under on how long that'll knock Mr. Scott's internet out? Go Miami Go? this just gets better and better Or maybe it's Go, Mi Amigo? )

strain this time is GMO Mints

Don’t think the Bucks could have come out looking any worse.

Huge putback from JB then an impressive sequence from crazy eyes P. Such an underrated player Bobby, X-Factor.

Tatum needs to settle down here, playing wild, out of control in that 1st.

This reminds me of game 1 in the BOS BRK series. Brown and Tatum with 6 points combined in the first half and they're still in the game.

Boston looks 100000000% outmatched. Best defensive team in the league us getting absolutely taken apart.

Nets had no size.. Was shooting practice for the Cs. Tatum hasn't done nothing but they are still in it. Gonna be a good game.. I hope

Come on man. You're going for the definitive slam with the series just 24 minutes old

Bucks benefits from an injury on the opposing team in the playoffs. Not shocked.
