https://www.king-george.va.us/248/Solid-Waste-Recycling

Can I use a commercial sized vehicle to deliver the waste from construction/cleanup on my property?

This is possible, but only by special pre-approval by the Director of the Department. The approval will be event-specific, and not open-ended. For further information, please contact Mike Ne#$%&* at 540-775-####, or by email at

Solid waste? He might need that for his destroyers.

It's a chunk but material prices have been out of hand for years.

Long ago, I said I'd never build another fence

But if that's the going rate for fences these days, sounds like I'll be breaking out the old post hole digger...

Neighbors sharing the cost?

You can do it yourself for about 1/3 the cost.

It's okay, I already know the answer.

Here is a section of the fence I replaced at our old house in 2016.
My neigbor bought the material that we shared and I did the labor.
I only had to buy about 20 feet worth that we didn't share.

We removed a pool deck and built two fences for ~$8,000 a couple of years ago.

Whoever is quoting $21,000 is out of their mind.

Dealing with yet another infection. In the same area as the major one earlier this year. I know I am immuno-compromised, but... At least I am seeing the old infectious disease specialist for the final time tomorrow before she passes me off to someone else. I'm going to tell her that she cannot retire. I just hope the new person is going to be competent concerning my weirdness. I wish I knew the actual cause of all of these infections.

How many feet of fencing do you need?

I have no truck. The guy said it will take 3 trucks to haul it all put. I don't know where to haul it to or how much it'll cost. With as much fence as we have, that's a little of work. If the previous owners hadn't painted the fence, we could have hauled it all to the firehouse and let them burn it during drills.

Why would the neighbors share the cost? It's not their fence.
