I was supposed to go to Punxsutawney for a parade today and do the Phil statue search, but I've heard the parade is very small. Then, I thought about going to Mahanoy City for another parade, but they are calling for rain during it.

I think I'll stay local and take my Son to Raising Canes for lunch and go to Monroe Park to check out the Virginia Gold Mining Camp Museum.

My wife has finally come to the point with all of the stress in her life right now that she wants to go away again; just the two of us. I've only been pushing that for 4+ years now since we haven't gone away alone in quite some time. I booked the usual hotel we stay at in Virginia Beach for a weekend in August.

The oldest SD is back staying at Dad's house. We'll see how long that lasts. No idea how she's going to entertain getting a job now with no vehicle.

My wife is mad at the MIL again. She told her yesterday that she was going to her boyfriend's house this Monday through the 4th of July holiday which means she will miss her daughter's actual birthday and her birthday party. Not surprised considering she's missed our son's birthday twice, Christmas, Easter, the girls birthday party's.

I had to have my wife drive home from work yesterday as my nausea was so bad from that medicine. I fell asleep and didn't wake up until she pulled into the driveway. Hopefully I don't have nausea again today.

Sounds like a roadkill buffet for the Boo family.

Cleaned out the youngest’s room. Moving him tomorrow. All his stuff was barely over one car full.

May I suggest logging off BO and doing just that?

Put in some Saturday hours, planted a few pear trees in the yard and mowed.

Productive little Saturday so far.

About 15 minutes away. My wife’s friend lives in the same apartment so we have someone to keep an eye on him.

Since he still works only a couple minutes away from us, my hope is he drops Kenny off for the days he works

I patched a couple holes in the walls in that room. I’m tempted to paint it today while nobody else is around.

Just got back from the SC Card Show. It was packed! Some seriously overpriced cards, so really good dealers that wanted to work with buyers. I got the last 6 cards I needed to finish the Gen 1 Pokédex. Also bought 2 PSA/DNA Jose Canseco rookies, some cards to give my friend’s daughter, and a Beckett 10 Ric Flair auto.

Also bought out a dealers cheap slab boxes. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with all of them yet, but for the price I got them for it made sense to me.

The way the faucet went, him laying carpet could give us a month of peace without him posting.

My son and I had a good day. As stated above, Raising Canes for lunch. Then we went to the Gold Mining Museum in Goldvein, VA. On the way back, I noticed Stafford County Fire Rescue Station 6/Hartwood VFD had their stuff outside so I stopped and took photos of the county engine and medic and volunteers brush and tanker. Then we went to George Washington's Boyhood home and learned all about George's younger years.

Fun Fact:

George Washington was 6' 2".

Substantially taller than the average Virginians including transplants.
