Just to update: it seems Panini reps are reading online blockchain support tickets, but not necessarily replying. I sent like 3 messages in a row and they unblocked my account twice after some wonky paypal issue last night, which allowed me to finally resolve my issue.

Persistence and borderline sexual harassment is key.

Jason Kidd challenge reward was to 180 and the Trevor Lawrence Downtown was to 204. The Lawrence already has sales of $89 and $115.

Number of active users is kind of worrisome. Tom Brady challenge only had 163 completions. They need to do something different.

There are MANY things they could do to improve this on many fronts from visibility, user experience, marketplace, challenges etc...

But IMO, the most important thing they can do is give these some real utility. Collect the full Prizm set, get a real Prizm set or a hobby box of Prizm or something.

Imagine collecting the full Color Blast set and being able to burn it for a pack that contains a physical Color Blast.

That might help but I think their main problem is the disastrous marketplace functionality.

Some upgrades that would go a long way:

1) Eliminating PayPal transactions and allow you to keep a balance instead of being charged transactions fees on top of a % on every single card.

2) Listing by card with all the available ones for sale or auction for that card. I know they have a way to do it now but it is very complicated.

3) Better historical sales format

Absolutely. I think the most important thing would be moving it to a public blockchain and allowing them to be moved to a wallet. That act would attract a different user base right away. People don’t trust panini and public blockchain is specifically designed to eliminate the need for trust because the chain is incorruptible. Physical rewards, as mentioned, feels like a perfect and unique opportunity for panini to differentiate themselves from other NFT’s and also to leverage their existing customer base (card collectors) into the fold. I am optimistic that they will get this going in the right direction eventually, but it has been a rough start so far.

Yeah, Paypal is my biggest problem with this. The majority of cards people are selling are like $3. It just cuts into the profit too much.

6-8 weeks was the ETA like 12 weeks ago.

I mean, at least Panini's communicating...somewhat. But there is absolutely no trusting their supposed timelines. This is a winged project. And they have very little if any fundamental working knowledge on blockchain tech. Most, if not all, of their work up til now has probably been farmed out. Just terrible foresight and execution.

Panini won’t know how to do this so they need to give their partner the right requirements, so I think it’s really huge that they’ve started to listen to the community to provide the needed changes.

Would be nice to baseline the gold pack values vs last year's via the pack marketplace....

buuuuttt.. that's not a thing yet. I know buying 5 Gold packs like I did for last year and holding for the long run COULD turn out to be a great move... but I'm not sure I want to sideline another $750 when the effort Panini has put into this has been soo weak thus far.
