Totally legit.

Oh, and he hasn’t missed any time in over three years for a birth. So his youngest has to be at minimum four.

Pretty sure my wife brought our then two year old to appointments with her 20 years ago.
One day closer to Mr. Unhinged snapping!

I do not sleeve quarter cards. Sleeves are for cards that are 50 cents to $1.00. Sleeves and toploaders are for everything above $1.00.

When toploaders were cheap ($50 per 1000), I used to use them for $1.00 cards, but no longer.

Hot thought: if the National experience is so great and so much more than cards. Wouldn't you want to bring that to more cities for more people to experience that can't or won't travel.

I put here since I figured it wouldn't get flamed as hard as in the card show thread.

I had high hopes of ATL being selected. At this point, it should just be called the Midwest Card Show. I can’t always justify a week trip to Chicago, but I could justify a week trip to ATL or Tampa once every 3-4 years to go.

Maybe Fanatics will look at making FanaticsFest a regional thing with shows at multiple locations throughout the year.

Thanks I was thinking anything over a dollar gets a sleeve and anything over 2 dollars gets a sleeve and toploader. Thanks for answering.

Same about ATL. I would of attended, as well. I hadve a free place to stay there and less than a tank to get there. Same can be said for Tampa.

At one point there was a Fanatics Fest scheduled for Orlando and it players ,vendors etc but it was then mysteriously canceled.

I went to the Chicago one a few years ago and I don’t know if it was the people I went with but I don’t think I would travel any more to go to a national. Anything you can find there you can find on eBay and you won’t have to feel like a sardine.

This was my thought kind of. Somewhere in the southeast I would be willing to throw maybe $100 entry cost down as test to see how it is instead of committing 1k to go to Chicago for something that could be easily seen online.

The SC Card Show is growing fast. From its small start, it’s already had to move to a bigger building. Sure it’s not the giant show, but people still have high end stuff. 1/1 Shohei autos, I saw a PSA 8 52 Mantle last show, but it’s still small enough to find deals on stuff without feeling like cattle being herded into a truck.

More nationwide dealers show up every time, and the flipper boys haven’t found it yet. I just wish there was another grading option besides TAG present, but they do offer drop off for everybody else through the LCS that runs it.
