I'll take a 0.750 OBP the rest of the season over a pair of dingers. He's still projected at 53.

And the Yankees have all their remaining games against bad non-playoff teams.

If only Judge got pitched to like Cal Raleigh. Cal is having a great season but he doesn't scare pitchers like Judge does. Maybe next year we'll see a change in how Cal is pitched.

I want Judge to get MVP this year. If he doesn't I just don't think I can take all the Yankees fans whining about stolen awards.

MVP blocked by a catcher who stands at 56 HR. It’s like an a list actor losing an academy award to a one hit wonder like Cuba gooding jr.

I don't think Cal is ever going to have this great a season again, so pitchers won't be worrying about him next year either.

Judge: 113 walks, 31 intentional
Ohtani: 105 walks, 19 intentional
Raleigh: 92 walks, 16 intentional

Why do teams take the bat out of Judges hands, but serve up meatballs to Ohtani and Cal?

Judge has DH'd in 54 games and Cal in 34.

Did you complain about Ohtani winning MVP last year as a DH?

Judge is hitting .320 vs Ohtani's .280? Ohtani has more protection with Mookie behind him? All of the above?

I just ask a question. A catcher should get a few days from behind the plate. The Twins ruined Mauer. Raleigh will get robbed. It's pretty clear. The Yankee Factor will factor in.

Need to see where Cal finishes. I don't think 63 is out of the question for him the way he hits HRs in bunches.

You could just not go into the Judge or Yankee threads. That would solve your problem. But then again, it would be cutting into your incessant trolling.

Then why didn't the "Yankee factor" help Judge beat Altuve in 2017 when Judge broke the ROY homerun record and led Altuve in almost every category except batting average, hits, stolen bases, and bWAR? And if you say it's because of his Ks, Cal Raleigh has more Ks than Judge and a heck of a lot less hits and batting average.

Cal needs to break the AL Home Run Record to win the MVP

I'm not sure he needs to break it, hitting 60 may be enough.

Vomit. If a .240 hitter beats out Judge that would be worse than Altuve winning it.

It's not just the average. It's every stat, except HR & RBI, by a huge margin. They're not even close.

They're very close in fwar. Judge is clearly the better hitter, but Cal is doing something historic.

The player with the higher WAR almost always gets the award. Judge is currently +1.9 over Cal. The year some say he was robbed, Altuve had the same 8.1 WAR as Judge.

Look I know there's going to be a third finalist but its between Judge and Cal and I can see voters wanting to give it to someone else. If it was based purely on war we wouldn't even need a vote just make it automatic.

Judge is in the drivers seat, but let’s not pretend that Cal catching over 1000 innings isn’t way more difficult and impactful than Judge occupying RF for 740 innings. And let’s not pretend that that doesn't impact hitting. Which is why Cal should be getting bonus considerations for having the best hitting season ever by a catcher.

Then they shouldn't be voting. Voting for Cal because they want "someone else" to win is stupid. I'm not calling you stupid mind you. Just the voters who would vote for Cal because Judge is always one of the top, or top, finishers.
