Just something I decided when I looked closely at my spending. When I was loading up on PSA 10 base/chrome/refractor RC was when I was spending the most money.

Buying RC already graded will deplete the bankroll very quickly because they are those mid level prices ($30-$200) and they are always available in quantity. For example with Yordan sometimes there will be 10 auctions ending on a single day and I"m sure the average is at least 20 a week. That's volume you don't have compared to a similarly priced ungraded /150 or /499. With the base/chrome/refractors it is much more efficient (money wise) just to buy a bunch of raw, pick out the best and send them in...when PSA is operational.

Ah I see. Thanks. I haven't had the opportunity to experience the grading option since I came back to the hobby after they were already locked up.

Negative, was dealing with a few things and forgot about all my auctions yesterday and lost them all. Sucks. I thought about adding a few more but I'm pretty content with what I have.

A flagship SP photo variation PSA 10 sold for $130 yesterday. That, along with those Flashback refractors (including the gold) were practically giveaways.

Patience for a big Yordan breakout appears to be running low. But that’s a good thing for the believers…

New monster pickup. This card is incredible in hand even compared to the super. I was scared on losing this and over paid. But Black Sterling cards are my favorite. Especially with this being a PSA 10.

If you are the buyer of a recent /5 Sterling Rookie Auto and want to make a quick profit please PM me. I fell asleep on buying!!

He's definitely in a slump. Still hitless and 0-30 now. Hopefully he breaks out of it today.

Card looks amazing. Congrats! I actually watched the /5 auction to the end and assumed you had gotten it, wished I mentioned it to you.

Just got my TC orange auto in, not a 10 (there's only 1 according to the pop report), but I'm happy with it.

Thanks!

Congrats on the TC Orange! Monster.

Unfortunately I literally fell asleep....I was fully planning on buying the red at auction and tracking it closely, would have bid very high. But sometimes you accidentally take a nap.

Tragic. My condolences. That's the same card that sold a couple months earlier for $75 more too. Wonder why they consigned it so soon.

Everyone's saving to go to the National, some great Yordan deals on the bay right now as a result. A BCA purple BGS 9.5 just went for $510. I regret not picking that up, but I did get this:

A true gold BGS 9.5 with only one 10 sub went for $1200 earlier this month. I don't think true gold should really be 2x the wave, so I think this was a pretty good pickup.

Looking for Andre Dawson Serial numbered cards that are his jersey number - either #8 or #10. So looking for cards like 8/8 or 08/99 or 10/250.

I dont know what Yordan would have e to do to gain some respect, so I have also started to put in on tucker. Kid is raking.

Right now Altuve, Gurriel,Correa and Tucker are getting the box score headlines over Yordan. I think both will be important for the Astros in the postseason and the future of the Astros.

At current prices, it’s a good time to load up on Yordan refractors…

Here is today's update. 2020 Topps Gold Foil. PSA mislabeled a few of these as Rainbow foil, but these are all gold foil. These are unnumbered, but the print run is in the 650 range. Here are about 70 of them....

My gawd man! I was thinking to myself that at least I had you beat on gem gold foils since I have 2 out of what, 12 now. But nope, I am going to consider it a tie until you get the label fixed though.

I obviously have spent some time on this card and have seen a lot of them. The PSA 10's that I have look identical to most of the PSA 9's here. There is really no difference in the cards. Just a difference on how the grader wants to treat the foil issues on the bottom of the card. It is an issue where the color is darkest/black and is consistent on every card. There is also sometimes the same issue on the left edge, but some graders let it go.

Going to need the /10 non auto to complete the non-auto rainbow. Hope I don't run into the eye4talent /10 curse for a rainbow.
