Agreed the only problem is when you ask one question it spawns a full blown back and forth. Since my Yankees hats and shirts are put away till spring training and all my New York winter teams suck I wore the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles hat that my wife gave me last year for when we went to one of their games. At this rate I might have to go to our storage locker where my hat collection is stored.

not even sure i would count blocked shots since that simply means they allowed that many more shots too begin with

Nah I would give them blocked shots, less pressure on the goalie and one of those blocks could’ve been a goal.

defense should have taken the players out of shooting position or controlled the puck better. can't let shooters skate freely into shooting area

last year, the team with the most average blocks per game was 15.6, and the worst was 18.9. so 23 is on the higher side

Lots of bruised shins, I played goalie in roller hockey in my teen years and although I appreciated the blocked shots I had enough padding and I knew I wouldn’t get hurt. Sometimes all trying to block a shot does is screen the goalie if you miss.
