Yeah I got no where with chat except a $10.00 promo code for the inconvenience. I'm going to try bringing them into the store for a refund of the difference. If they can't do that i'm hoping I can return and be refunded for the whole order and then just repurchase the blasters right there. I forgot the blasters were like $27 online. That's crazy.

My only hope here is that 24 of the Megas are still delayed and not shipped. So hopefully theyll actually show up correctly.

But the order that is arriving today of 12 Megas I'm expecting blasters.

Just returned from my local Walmart. Brought the sealed box delivered by Fedex and explained that I ordered Megas and that others who ordered as I did have been getting blasters. The customer service manager opened the box and lo and behold 10 blasters are in the box not the Megas I ordered.

The only thing she could offer was a full refund of the initial order. When I asked her why I couldn’t return them and then rebuy them immediately she told me that any Walmart.com order has to be returned to their online warehouse.

Bummed to miss out on the product in any format especially what I preordered from them but happy to have my money back at least.

This sounds like bullsh*t. I would have raised hell. Haven't others been able to buy the blasters back on spot?

It was. The store manager of this store is a friend so I asked the customer service rep if I could speak to him. He even explained the same policy to me that they couldn’t be resold to me after returning them.

Fortunately we found two full displays of at another Walmart in our area of Central NJ so the morning and the trip wasn’t a total loss

That is terrible. So we can keep them at the higher price for their mistake or miss out on the product? That's not cool at all. Sounds like the 20% refund they offer on chat is the best we will get.

WM online chat was painless.

Took less than 5 minutes to have a refund issued for the "mega" blasters mess.

Give them the UPC on the box and they will adjust down to $19.98 each.

Lol I spent 30 minutes on chat and didn't get anywhere. Any tips to make it easier besides proving the blaster UPC? Might try again.

Sadly there wasn't an option to save it, they just gave a reference #.

Basically I just laid it all out from the start before listening to anything they said. Gave the order number and product mega 42 card size and price. Then told her I received a different packaging variation in 28 count blaster box size (UPC xyz) and it sells for $19.98. Said I would like to keep these smaller size but obviously not at the large packages pricing and to please adjust the difference.

Doing the same right now. I did tell them that the Mega orders got blasters and blaster orders got Megas and that it was being discussed on social media

Thanks for the info! Will try again later. For my chat I was transferred to like 3 different supervisors and they all said that the system can only refund up to 20% then it requires a return for a full refund.

I think maybe they are getting so many calls/chats that they know it was messed up

Another success story above don't give up! By now these have to be flagged in the system. All the people calling yesterday and this morning did the heavy lifting on these reps.

Interesting. So if you bought both; do you adjust the megas where you received blasters, and keep the megas that came in place of $27 blasters?

Also, how do you get them to adjust to $19.98 when they sold blasters for $27

Yep they jacked up the price online for the pre-order. I bought some of the overpriced blasters because I figured they'd be even more overpriced once they got released. BO actually seems to be the cheapest right now at $40. I've seen everyone on Facebook and eBay try to sell them for $45-$50. I also ordered 4 megas, so if those were switched, then I should end up getting everything I originally ordered.
