Anyone on here buy my BGS 9.5 Great X-Pectations /15 from PWCC? It was my first time using their auction service and I was pretty disappointed with the results. Hard to compete when they put the /10 version ending at the exact same time. Good buy though.

Huh? As a basketball fan, what reason could there possibly be for not wanting to see this? I’m sure the naysayers will claim there is an injury risk, but has anyone ever in the history of the dunk contest gotten hurt during, or as a result of, the competition?

Again, I need to ask the question...why would the Pelicans not want to showcase their future (really their present) superstar in an event that will have A TON of eyeballs on it? I can’t imagine he will get a lot of minutes in the actual all-star game because the teams will be stacked, so why not have him go nuts for the dunk contest? They haven’t been limiting his minutes this year like they did last season, so what exactly is the downside?

I think the downside is the slim chance he does get injured, season would be over for the Pelicans

Honestly if that is a legit concern for the organization, you might as well just wrap the kid up with bubble wrap out on the court. I understand injuries are always a concern, but you gotta let the young man have fun. And like I said before, I don’t think anyone has ever gotten injured as a result of participating in the dunk contest.
