"the other one" would have been a superstar if stealing 1st was an option

Yep. Best part about it is “Mr Know It All” negative Nelly finally got smart and left the thread rather than get embarrassed with every sentence he wrote. If you did not know any better you would have thought Elly dumped his sister or something the way he constantly bashed him. Still has things to improve but his power and speed especially have improved this year. We have tickets for next weekend vs the Dodgers at GABP.

The Dodgers game is Prime Time. He showed up when the lights were on him. That's a great sign for Reds fans and how he would perform in the post-season.

These player threads are all the same. Always that one guy that needs attention, then the few below him that want to pile on and then the declaration that the player is hobby-dead. Have they declared Acuna dead AGAIN in his thread?

Not many here enjoy baseball. They're playing stock market and set up ops to buy and sell.

I own ONE Elly card, FTR. His Meijer's Purple. Hopefully that one card is worth a trip to the moon.

lol ain't this the truth.

I will say, when player threads appear at the top it's one of two things:

Someone commenting how said player is hot

or

Someone commenting how said player is a bust due to his massive slump

Elly before this 4-4 game was playing very mediocre the past 2 weeks, but still getting stolen bases in droves.

In the first 15 days of the month, this thread saw 26 total posts. But yeah, it’s just the negative Nancys who run away when a player is performing bad/good.

I applaud the on brand post.

Last 7 days he's hitting .350

As I've said before, he is a moments player. He had another moment where kids and adults are like, "yeah this is the most fun you can have watching baseball".

He's 6th in MVP odds on a team that can't score more than 1 run most nights.

Before the start of the season Draft Kings was giving +750 on Elly to lead the league in SB. I only bet $5.

Draft Kings had the over/under is SB @ 39.5. again I only bet $5.

You take away 1 game, and he's hitting .238.

Elly is highly inconsistent. You never really know what you'll get from him. He also has an insane BABIP of .374.

The biggest thing for Elly though it seems was more selective at the plate instead of free swinging. Cut down on strikeouts, and way higher walk rate. Had 35 walks all of last year, already has 22 this year.

Yeah, tough landing for Elly in this Dodger series.
After his great game on Thursday night, he went 0-13 with 8 strikeouts in the three losses.

The roller coaster that is Elly. I enjoy the highs more than any player I can remember. But that Faustian bargain comes with a steep price.

Imagine if he went 0-130 with 80K the next 30 games. It would be over!!! Down to Triple A!!!! He definitely shot his load the first game! Best of luck to you the rest of the season!

7 day splits / 15 day splits / May splits all are why I worry

(I suppose I am a hater if you're a homer)

What is it worth? Mine’s out for grading right now. It’s a high quality Purple but that’s not the same thing as Gem Mint.

I just hope some of the Reds-Brewers games happen when I am over in Wisco. Had to work through tonight’s game.
