Selfishly would rather he does not pitch

I believe he would win 5 plus MVPs just as a hitter

Pitching brings injury concerns and definitely hitting concerns

In some ways this season is the perfect setup. Bat exclusively until around July or August... then swoop in fresh to pitch down the stretch drive and in the postseason. Decreases injury concern, increases offensive productivity, and puts the pitching in a microscopic spotlight while also preserving his arm's "freshness."

I just don't feel like there is any real urgency for him to pitch. He's just become too valuable at the plate.

Sometimes I think they purposely drag their butts just to screw with me. After all, what do they care, they got their money.
