My revised guesstimates: BGS 9- around $7000, BGS 9.5- around $11,000, BGS 9.5 (true gem mint) around $13,500.

I was having second thoughts of spending $5750 on my BGS 9.5 four months ago but I am glad I pulled the trigger given the recent sale (today) of similar copy for $11,000. That is a 91% appreciation in 4 months!
Wow thank you for sharing

Yes, sometimes there is an investment aspect, sometimes there is a hobby aspect and sometimes there is both (investment and hobby) to collecting. This card will stay in my PC even though it is tempting to sell it now from an investment point of view

Bought these raw 5 months ago for $370 and $446 ea. Just came back from PSA. One will be headed to Probstein. One will be PC'd for a bit

Sweet score on the E-Topps Trout cards. It's a great card for sure.

Why don’t you just offer the extra one up on the board? It will sell within hours I would guess. You have recent sales to go by, price it fairly, and watch it sell.

That and you get your money right away. Don't have to wait 2 months like you do with PWCC (from time you send card to time you receive cash)

Probstein is a lot faster than PWCC and also I'm building up a credit to buy something really significant soon...

Somebody bought the GMA 9 Target Red for $5k. Insanely risky IMO.

Haven't seen a Chrome 175 pristine sale in a while. Would like to see one go to auction to get a comparison to the Update.

Very. Leaving aside the possibility of it being altered or fake, the centering was really poor and the pictures were blurry so tough to see corners. IMO upside here is that the card is worth the price paid for it. Certainly lots of downside though, and IMO absolutely not worth the risk.

That card is ROUGH. Maybe PSA 4 at best..? I guess we will find out what an entry-level Black is worth. Any guesses..?

I will go with 5k

True but that's the great part about this particular auction. If that goes for 5k that would be insane.

PSA 4 is horrendous condition. That looks like a 6 or 7.

PSA 5 is best you can hope for with a crease. Plus: shmeg on the logo.

If that’s a 7, then I want you to be my personal grader at PSA.

Mike Trout Target Red 2011 Topps GMA 9 just sold for $4950. Get ready to see buyer crack that card out of the GMA case and sell it 2X the price they paid for.

That’s an awful scan of the black too. Quality of the image makes the card appear fake. Looks like a 4 to 5 to me. Could be worse depending on how bad that surface damage is.

So...this is the same red PSA 10 that was bid up to 15k before being ended early. These clowns got the seller to pull the auction and sell to them directly, just so they could put it back up on eBay and go fishing for a higher price.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-Topps-...ss!37205!US!-1

I wish we could have a “block sellers” option.

Wonder what they got it for. Seller was dumb for not letting it ride.

Ryan from Burbank here to give a little context to the Trout PSA 10 Red Border we just listed. The original seller brought the card in mid-auction for a variety of personal reasons asking what we could pay for it. We ended up working a deal, in no way did we ever reach out to the seller asking him to bring it to us. That's just not something we do.

Happy to answer any other questions.

Part of me really wants to jump on a Trout eTopps PSA 10 before they go to the moon--I like my PSA 9 but I have a feeling these will age better than some of his other RCs.

I did FOMO buy a 2011 Finest PSA 10 today--had a refractor, but wanted a base. I had to hold my nose on the price, but the pop report is really attractive on that one.

I just bought one of those myself. Finally starting to fill in the gaps on some of the RCs I had previously ignored. There is no such thing as a bad (LICENSED) Trout RC
