Ok, I just went through hell with these morons. The chat I was using was on Walmarts mobile site.

Exactly what happened to me today. So didnt have to do a thing but confirmed via tracking numbers that is what they did.

I’ve tried chat 3 times and emailed Walmart and all they can do is give me a refund on a return...no credit of the difference in price from Mega to Blaster

Spoke with chat the first time, told them I wanted to keep the incorrect products and have a price adjustment back to my card. Provided the links of the what I should have received (megas) versus the blasters that I got. Couldn't get the in-store price of the blaster at $20 but got the blasters' reduced down to $27.48 which was the online price.

why didn't you just go to an actual walmart?

2. Go to a Walmart
3. Have return processed
4. Repurchase item

If they won't do that go to another Walmart, or speak to a manager.

Ok, people. Listen. Do not give up if one online chat agent says no. Try over and over again. They CAN and WILL refund the difference through chat for the real price of blasters, $19.98. Not the $27.98 they first offered at. Do not let them get away with anything.

Here is the script I used on each chat agent until one worked. This is EXACTLY what I used. Enter your own data in areas marked XXXX.

It would be easier to do it this way and I'd like to try this before I go the in-store route. I am definitely not going to let them screw me over on this. I'm surprised if you do the online chat that they don't stick with the online price of the blasters that are inflated. BTW, where is the chat function on the Wally site? I only found a number to call.

It took three tries over the phone but finally got the price adjusted down from a MEGA to a BLASTER (aka VALUE box). Instead of using the blaster upc I first referred to the walmart item number 566427256. Hope that helps if you're in the same situation.. might save you a trip and allow you to rip instead of return.

The first agent will always say that a full return and refund is the only option. Just say that many others have gotten the difference refunded when they were transferred to the higher up customer relations dept. They will then transfer you to that dept. and they will do the adjustment once you explain the mistake and $17.50 per box difference.

My first chat agent (Friday) got the info and refunded me the difference, just depends who you get. Guess I'm not a d*******.

My order got split into 5 shipments. Looks like 3 are out for delivery today. Fully expecting my 24 Megas / 12 Value boxes to be 12 Megas / 24 blasters. Hopefully I can use the tips from you guys to get my refund and rip everything tonight

I got my orders over the weekend and I can tell based on the boxes and the tracking numbers that they reversed mine as well. However, I got lucky that I ordered 4 of each, so it didn’t matter and I technically got what I ordered. I guess I could still complain and say my 4 megas came as blasters, but ultimately I got what I paid for based on both screw-ups.
