I'd rather play the Ravens. Rooting for them as they usually give Cincy trouble. Cincy somehow has a losing record in their own division.

With Lamar I'd say the Ravens had a good shot.

With Huntley, doubt it happens.

Furthermore

I don't think we ever see the Bills. Bengals look like the better team to me. Bring em on.

With those 2 Allen INTs, Mahomes now has the highest career Playoff QB rating to go along with the highest career regular season QB rating.

And a larger volume/body of work in the post season meaning those numbers are more solidified

I don't know why Allen gets compared to Mahomes at all. If you put both resumes in front of a CEO no one is taking Allen.

It's:
Mahomes

Allen/Burrow
Herbert/Tlaw/Hurts

I know why:

-Last year's :13 second game they were neck and neck.
-First half of the season, Allen was probably playing even better.
-People seemed to price in an MVP and Super Bowl win to Allen's resume this season.

Well, one of those is out the window. I don't think the other will happen either.

Sure. But even in a hypothetical world where he wins MVP and SB MVP this year, his resume is still not very close to Mahomes. Allen has a long ways to go and he'd need Mahomes to crap the bed during that same time frame to catch up.

Burrow at least has a SB appearance on his resume and a h2h over Mahomes in the AFCC.

Anyone just snipe the ‘18 Kaboom that ended on eBay for just over $1,500? My bid came in 2nd so I’m hoping it’s a BO member that ended up getting what I think is a good deal!

Would have loved a dolphins upset there. Man did they blow it. The moment was way too big for the RC QB

I bid on that one too! Didn't win it though. Went way higher than I expected.

SCG 9 sold for $1300 in October. PSA 9 sold for $1325 in September.

My snipe was around those values. I think most Mahomes are down since October so it was odd that this one was up. But it's a great card, first year kaboom for Mahomes.

So we're rooting for the Bengals right? Even though they have our number, we want to play at home.

I think both of those game showed a lot of weaknesses for both the Bengals and Bills and now they are about to beat each other up. Hoping the Chiefs beat down the Jags and play a tired Bengals or Bills team

I’d rather take on the Bills at a neutral site. Josh Allen’s turnover machine is just what the Chiefs’ D needs.

A lot of Bills/Bengals talk in here. The Chiefs actually play Jacksonville next. They're young, fast, showed that they can deal with adversity, and are playing with house money. That can be a lethal combo. I hope the Chiefs, at least, are laser-focused on the task at hand.

Everybody wants to catch the "next Mahomes" and buy up whatever said QB is next in line. None of them are going to be like Mahomes, just like nobody is going to be like Brady.

Especially Herbert though....who has done nothing for accomplishments really but is priced as a MVP and Super Bowl winner.

A lot of psycho Bills fans out there. The resiliency of Allen’s pricing has been baffling, so that’s my only explanation. Herbert market will get destroyed this off-season. Don’t think you’re going to find a big appetite for throwing money at a guy who is clearly behind Mahomes, Burrow, and Allen when it comes to potential future team success.

I think Herbert can be #2 of the bunch. We'll see.

Did you miss my entire analysis of the game?

I rewatched then entire thing for y'all!!!!

Notes from the rewatchL
-Jags begin the game recovering onside kick. Doubt that happens again.
-First Drive: Pacheco fumbles inside the 10
-Chiefs defensive line dominating the game
-Chiefs carving the defense up with downfield crossing routes in the first half. Jags can't cover correctly
-Juju got KO'd from dirty hit to the head. Exited in 2nd qtr
-This game was Toney's coming out party. He reminds me a bit of Deebo Samuel the way he makes guys miss
-After second TD, missed XP by Butker
-Squib kick to Fortson, who fumbles the ball back to the Jags. Another turnover
-Second have the Jags adjusting to the crossing routes, throwing more underneath stuff to McKinnon
-Mahomes with a needless interception trying to make a play
-Final possession, Chiefs able to get the first downs needed to run out the clock.

I really like the Chiefs outlook in this game. I'd be shocked if the Jags could defend the Chiefs offense all of the sudden. Even with 4 turnovers last game, it was pretty comfortably in hand.

Just avoid the turnovers again and I think KC will be fine.

*Will also add this:

Both teams we're relatively healthy in the last matchup.

Jags seemingly had all their starters healthy.

Chiefs were missing Mecole Hardman, and Juju got knocked out with a concussion in the first half. The Chiefs have added Brandon Williams since then as well.

I don’t know. The bills had like four turnovers and still put up 31 points. They’re often scary and they can score so quickly and the Chiefs do not have a good defense.

The addition of Williams has been a quiet help on early downs.

They put up 34 with the help of multiple Dolphins turnovers too. Buffalo also only scored on one long drive in the second half of that game, the TD to help give them cushion started at Miami's 33 thanks to Thompson's 2nd pick. Their 2nd TD was a 68 yard drive in 6 plays.

The Chiefs Defense has given up 49 points in garbage time this season to opponents they were leading by two scores or more in the 4th quarter. That difference in points allowed would push them from 16th to 5th best in the league. Just something to ponder.

I do agree they're not world beaters on that side of the ball, but they have been more functional as the season wore on, as I predicted in this thread a couple months ago. Having better safety play (i.e. not getting caught peeking in the backfield) has helped clamp down on big plays down the middle the last few weeks. Trent McDuffie matches up well with top WR's because of how little space he allows around them.

Should be interesting to say the least.

I'm getting the sinking feeling that Mahome's RC prices already have 2 (maybe 3?) Super Bowl victories built into their prices. If he stumbles this year, the dip will be severe.

Yeah I guess winning the MVP means he is overrated.
