There is no reason whatsoever that Kane should be squashing Finn Balor after Balor got a huge victory the night before. Finn is being setup to go against Brock Lesnar eventually, so what's the best way to book him? Have him squashed by a 20 year veteran..... dokay.

Have Kane beat Matt Hardy, Apollo Crews, Gallows or Anderson, Goldust, Hawkins, The Drifter, Jason Jordan...... there's an entire roster of guys where getting squashed doesn't hurt them in the long run. This really made Balor look ridiculous imo.

Just "watched" last nights Smackdown, waste of 20 minutes! The A. J. match was pointless, best part was the Randy low blow. Is it just me, or does S.Z. look like a joke as a heel?

Isn't 5pst like 8et?

Yeah they could have had him beat someone else, but wouldn't have had the same effect I guess. Again, not saying it was the right decision (And I can't stand Finn) but right now they felt Kane had to look stronger than Finn I guess.

I think Zayn works really well as a heel. He can come out to that annoying music now and just be a total ass with his dancing. And the match against Orton was really good I thought.

Well if that's the case who does Kane beat next week to keep him strong?

Point is Kane has been around so long he doesn't need the rub, doesn't need the booking to look strong. His resume speaks for itself so there's no reason he needs to squash the top people in the company.

So I rewatched Raw and did anyone else notice Shinsuke wasn't walking around with the group beating down the locker room but when show ended and they exited through the crowd there he was in blue.

Also it would have been great if the SD group ran into Brock in the back and did a 180...

To be fair, fans of TNA say this a lot whenever a major change happens. "What they were doing before was garbage, but now it's much better". I actually liked TNA once and preferred it over WWE, but TNA has burned me too many times to give them another chance.

Or Brock should have came out and destroyed the entire Smack Down group. Suplex Cities for everyone would have been great.

I watched part of the Impact (TNA) show tonight - first time since the India shows. They televised matches from other promotions (Border City Wrestling and NOAH). Not sure what the company's strategy is at this point.

Just read that the beatdown part was taped earlier in the day so that it could be edited as Vince saw fit. I guess they forgot he wasn't part of the crew walking through the locker room.

I would imagine it was probably requested by her. She was finally starting to get a small push, why would WWE do that if they were just gonna dump her?

Edit: Maybe not. I'm seeing rumors that other people may be getting cut today as well.

So far (unless this is it?) Emma is the only current active person to get (or ask for) release.

Summer Rae may have been the only female talent even more mismanaged than Emma. If you watched her NXT stuff as the leader of the BFFs, you knew she had a great deal of potential, but she was never allowed to show it on the main roster.

Injuring her back didn't help.

Emma was so underused its ridiculous. She should be a top heel champion for them right now. Instead they continue to employ Dana, Alicia, and Tamina

They could release 20-30 wrestlers and no one would blink an eye.

So much dead weight on the roster. Talent and star power is shockingly thin when you look at the size of the roster.

They all have a reason for being there though. Alicia is there because she's a long term loyal company woman who does anything asked of her. Tamina is there because she's a legacy, even if her dad is a murderer. Dana is there because HHH gets off on big muscle bound women.
