Not bad at all

Thought they both would be 10 k

I could see both those cards easy 60-70 bucks in a few weeks

Just curious, what is a low PR in general? I feel foolish in asking but is 2,500 (as an example) considered a low or high PR?

Matt Taylor’s Griffey could see some huge movement it’s got a very low PR by today’s standards and I think Taylor is going to draw more and more the further the project goes. BINs are already getting into the $70 shipped range.

That card is so ugly to me. I don't get why Taylor's Jeter sells for so cheap, much nicer design imo

Many of the average print runs were around 1500 at the beginning of this for most artists. With averages now at 7000, I'd consider it low now.

Agreed. Taylor's Henderson and Jeter had a sense of movement to them.

His Griffey feels static. Almost like he's behind bars.

This Rivera makes the best out of a bad original card. My favorite of Keith's so far.

Sure these cards have skyrocketed, but who am I kidding, I can't sell them. They're my favorite set of cards I've ever collected!

Has anyone bought a card by an artist with an intent to sell it fund your other ones only to find out that "in hand" you loved the card and needed the rest by the artist?

Asking for a friend.

Yes. Keith Shore, Greg Siff, and Blake. I had originally only intended to build an Ermsy set.

Efdot is next on the list for me. I really want to do his too, but I have to draw the line.

I like them all in hand. I was only going to do 3 artists

Taylor
Baller
Blake

Now I am possibly adding efdot, ermsy, Mr. Cartoon, and Beck. I really want to do them all, but trying to practice restraint and save some cash. There is only 1 I am clearly passing on.

Efdot's sneak peek at Ted William's is enough to reel me in but I dont have the funds to go with another artist. Baller and Ermsy for now....

Over time I've adjusted my approach to add single cards outside my artist/player set approach.

Give yourself permission to have some singletons. It's liberating!

Some people are wondering what a full set is worth. What about a set of 1 artist? Well...

The source card on Rickey is full of kinetic energy that is well expressed and Jeter is a throwing motion. Griffey is bat on shoulder. Tough to add movement to that one.

I would assume his Gwynn will be a ton of movement as well. This is the source card that he is interpreting that drives the movement.

To me, this would mean Ichiro #1 is going to go up, up, and away.

Fair point.

For all these cards I have an internal want/don't want switch and I was trying to determine why this Griffey didn't do it for me.

My response is probably unfair to the artist given the original card. But I have to listen to my heart. Love the Jeter card!
