I didn't even look at those since I don't have one, but considering he's actually drawing on that it's not that insane, the non-AP is $350 which isn't tooooo crazy

I was going to say you can't answer the question with the mean alone. You closed the data gap very nicely there with some very plausible assumptions. #maths

The cheapest BIN on the Cartoon Clemente is $390. You can mail your own in for $350...that doesn't seem crazy to me.

No worries. That's why I opened a new Chase Freedom with 2.9APR for 12 months to pay down the Amex debt. Think I'm doinitrite.

Huuuge fan of Cartoon. Picked up the mail in option (350) and the companion card (95).

I have an original 1 of 1 piece of his that is around 2'x4' that I paid 500 for. Hard to justify paying 2,500 for the the /25 card.

Yeah if you bought around msrp its not too bad, what was this card at peak though? $1k? At that point I'd buy a whole new one for $800 and call it a good DCA

Sold 3 of my 5 clementes (probably only p2020 issue I won't lose money on), so the 2 companions should complement well. I like how he kept the same scheme.

By the way...the real highway robbery was the shipping.

$25 standard on 3 cards.

Better be hand delivered by a couple of nortenos in a '64 ragtop.

Price your card wherever you like but nine dollars shipping (each card) is just cruel.

Why 355 autos for a 1845 PR card...If it was about sub 10% I would've gotten one. 20% of the cards!!!!

I’m hoping to put together a hand-embellished set of Mr. Cartoon cards. They are $2,500 each but I figure if I buy two of each card the second set could eventually make me back most of the cost of both sets. So I’m out $100,000 up front but if all goes according to plan I’ll end up with one set for my personal collection at a substantially reduced cost. Maybe the set would only end up costing me a mere $25,000 as opposed to $50,000 if I time my sales right. I only have to get permission from the wife for card purchases over $100,000 so luckily this one will come in right on the button. Otherwise she might make me sell one of my Money Bears. And selling one of those now would be the most foolish decision I’ve made yet.

Ask him to give you a 25% discount on a 10 pack. Sell 9, and buy the next 10 pack. Rinse and repeat.

Bought the silver ink version of Cartoon auto (send in option) + 2 companion cards.
One of my favorite cards in the set, and his signature looks beautiful, at least on the mock up it is.
