Padres will be sitting at home watching the Braves play in the playoffs. Can't wait for Soto to be in pinstripes.

Well Atl would be cool, or LAD. Anywhere other than SD or back to DC. Not Mets, though. Or Houston.

He's a Yankee in 2025. Boras guy that shines on the East Coast.

You'll have your chance to completely knock us out of the playoff race to close the season (assuming they haven't already blown their shot).

When’s the last time the Yankees signed a notable free agent.

Gerrit Cole in the 2019-20 off-season?

Stanton was a trade, but kind of like a signing, back in 2017-18

They resigned Judge of course, but that’s a little different. The days of the Yankees signing big name free agents regularly are over.

I remember reading that Bryce Harper was destined for the Yankees since the day he was drafted.

Since we are pipe dreaming….

Imagine him hitting the warehouse in Baltimore. Adley and him walking 200 times a year with Gunnar behind them.

Angelos would never. But that would be a very fun squad.

Padres 0-12 in extra innings. Sign of a good team.

Agree. They’re due. I just want Soto to back on the East Coast. Especially if Ohtani stays out West.

Hou is 1-8, Tex is 2-8. There's more luck involved than you think.

Gotta love that SP auto Reggie. Yeah, it’s a sticker but a PR of 5-7 is really special.

Especially with the church-league softball runner on second rule.

It's basically like college football OT now. If the team in the field first can get a stop, I'd have to imagine their gameplan changes to small-ball.

LOL so in the past 4 offseasons they've signed the best free agent pitcher and the best free agent hitter
