Excited to see who gets Sonny Gray, I've seen 3-4 teams interested and none of them really standing out in who's gonna pull the trigger.

As a Sox fan, I'd take him as long as we dont give up any of our Top 10 prospects. Maybe give them Shaun Anderson and a 21-30 range prospect. He cant hit for average, but at least he has pull power that should fit Fenway well. Plus, he's a rental and would keep 3B warm for Devers

This will be a move that is not going to cost the Sox much and bring a seasoned guy into the lineup with some pop and fill a much needed void at 3rd, no need to over think this move if indeed it's Frazier coming to Boston, I'm all for bringing him in.

Dombrowski just commented in an interview during rain delay that they would like to address 3rd base but currently are not close to anything.

Levine just posted this;

Boston has another ML scout on the White Sox starting today Red Sox top official was following Chicago all weekend .

Guess it will continue to be a work in progress.

Only way Groome goes to the White Sox is if they sent Robertson too.

Frazier doesnt have a ton of value. Hes an upgrade from the garbage pile the Sox have but a top 100 prospect for 3 months of Frazier?

Because 3 months of Todd Frazier is the same as 3 years of Chris Sale and 4 years of Quintana.
