It's only an ROI if they are sold.
I bought the megas to hold onto for many years to come and i guess it will be interesting to see what happens in regards to popularity in the future.
In a previous post i mentioned that series one(1985) garbage pail kids were 25c a pack and are now $37,000 a box.....if the black knight becomes the Adam bomb or Nasty Nick of the generation,then who knows what these things could be worth in 20 years.

Cant really compare cards now to stickers then. We knew nothing about sleeves or toploaders. Best case we would put cards/stickers in binders.

We bought stickers to stick them everywhere.

Tell me about it....i was 11 in 1985 and looking back i probably had a couple of hundred grand of Bombs and Nicks stuck to the bottom of my school bag..lol.
In fact,i mentioned to a buddy of mine recently about gpk and he estimates he had 30 Nicks plastered on his garbage bin in his bedroom.

Back to fortnite....i'm surprised skull trooper and ghoul trooper aren't more popular as they were rare epic skins released as part of the halloween series..i think these are the next two to go beserk after the night...time will tell

woah... what happened to all the fortnite wax on BO? All series 2 and some series 1 were still in stock when I checked yesterday. Did someone buy everything overnight? says they're sold-out.

Blowout was marked up pretty high when I started looking at sealed product back in December. Other than a lack of research, I don't know why anyone would pay their prices when there are cheaper options still available.

dont mislead people did you calculate inflation? Also investing in stocks like apple at that time more ROI. Just buy what you like cause you dont know future.

Whats the difference in the hobby boxes that i see up for sale? I see some that are listed as hobby box going for around $200 and then other hobby boxes selling for around $700. Same pack count per box but the only thing different is the cellophane wrapper. The more expensive one have the panini cellphone wrapper and the cheaper boxes have just plane cellphone wrappers.

I wasn't intentionally misleading anyone,but simply stating what is and what "potentially" could be.
I'm certainly under no illusion that the hype and fomo with this stuff is real right now and it could collapse like deflated balloon.
I bought some boxes as an experiment,with the intention of holding onto them...to be quite frank...if they become worthless,i couldn't give two hoots.
Time will tell....

Update on the tins. First 3 of 11 total incoming in yest, cracked today.

I think someone could possssibly take the "seal" off and put back on but it's on there pretty tight. I'd have to think removing and putting back on would make it quite loose.

Either way, these haven't taken off a ton but I could see it being a risky sell down the road due to people actually doing it, or buyers doing it and sending back saying it looks tampered with. So I feel obligated to rip these (shoot!).

I think these were unsearched and had some solid luck overall with no major bangers coming out:

Calamity Shard
AIM Shard
Valkyrie Shard (my gf obv)
Omen Holo

The Omen is a layup 9 with no crimp so nice surprise there. Base surprisingly in amazing shape so a few I'll bulk. This was italy text italy print. I believe I have a batch of 5 USA text Italy print coming in soon, will report back on those if it's anything out of the ordinary.

Overall if these are unsearched I think great value.

They mark up a ton. Right now, it's smarter to buy the singles you want (and grade) than pay those prices. But I get it...ripping is the best part, especially when you hit that golden ticket.

Blue packs so I knew there was no chance of a Cracked Ice.

Rare in every pack. Epic every 3. Legendary every 12 and foil every 24.

Repack was from a company called Grosnor here in Canada. 2 pack for 5 bucks. Obviously not searched I guess.

The two factors I like are he took it down before relisting where it then sold and pop is low low.

If he was a master manipulator surely he could edit the listing to change auto decline rather than take it down to do right lol?

I don’t have terapeak so if you don’t mind monitoring def curious.
