He had a great year but remember the Packers played the 6th easiest schedule against a bunch god awful teams for sure, bum slayers is a little harsh but still. I still think he and the young WR's are gonna do some great things though, look out!

To clarify what i meant, this was my quote on the matter when it was happening
He was outplaying Purdy and and he had to do is make the simple plays and avoid big mistakes. I noted the time because it was moments before disaster struck.

The good news it’s all stuff he can improve upon. The bad news is these opportunities are rare. The Packers had a whole lot go right for them tonight, but the kickers, the defense, and Love just couldn’t finish. So many opportunities to get to the NFC title game likely against a team you’ve already beaten in thier home stadium and it slipped through thier fingers.

I’m not saying he sucks, because he doesnt. But boy, the Packers let one slip away today.

Big thing for Love will now to make sure he does not have a sophomore slump. Teams now have a full season of tape on him and can game plan for him.

I was led to believe GB could never win because Aaron had poor WRs (like Adams, prime Cobb, Nelson) yet Jordan and these new guys seem fine.

Pretty clear A arod just didn't want to put in the work to build chemistry with any young WR.

I guess Love has said he plans to have his camp again this off-season were he brought in players to work out with.

This season went better than any Packers fan could have hoped for. Unbelievable run to end the year. Here's the reality though: Love is about to sign a $50M+/year extension in May. Unfortunately, while the 3-year development of Love gave him the space to learn a ton and understand LaFleur's offense, it also "wastes" a QB's years on a rookie deal. The Bears are probably moving on from Fields because they have the opportunity to "refresh" their QB position on a rookie deal instead of paying Fields what he will cost in a year or two.

The Packers are about to have to pony up on a Burrow/Mahomes/Allen-type deal (right now!) based on a good half of the year (10 good games vs. 9 not-so-good games). That makes me nervous.

Yeah that would make me nervous too. But he did look solid.

Congrats to the 9ers, but as a packer fan I feel great with love going forward. Purdy’s team won the game, but he looked like a$$.

I suppose I better dig up my Love cards from the 2020 box 'o commons, see what I got. Plenty of space to fit him in my QB hype box with Justin Fields clearing a ton of room

Which is what makes this loss tough.

To make a Super Bowl run, you need things to fall your way:
-Weather favors the Packers. Check
-Deebo gets dinged early. Check
-Purdy giftwraps 2 ints including a pick 6. Check
-A beatable team in the NFC championship. Check.

And they just let it slip through. The good news about a big QB deal is that it still gives you 1-2 years of pretty cheap QB play: Josh Allen's cap number was $18.6MM this year. But they'll start paying the price next year when I'm guessing it jumps closer to $40MM.

I don't think it's panic time time Green Bay, but it's a good opportunity missed.

Also, not a measurable stat, but the Pack were red hot. They were playing loose, with confidence.

Panic time?! The Packers are the youngest team in football! The future is very very bright! Your takes are a little off they never intercepted those gift wrapped balls if they do game over!

If it were better odds, I'd likely put a few hundred on it.
