Yes, a lot of 2023-24 Prizm BKB is printed.

However, Wemby is the real deal (hopefully remains healthy long-term), stock/crypto markets are WAY up again (right now), alternative licensed basketball products (particularly retail configurations) are priced similarly with significantly lower ceilings, etc.

Worst case scenario, you get too scared to see your play through, just offload at cost or for a small gain. Put in some time/effort, and you can recoup your cost and rip/hold some boxes for free too.

Your last paragraph was my reasoning for still purchasing some and staying within my budget.

My previous comment was more tongue in cheek since how often do we get to preorder a product on Walmart.

Did anyone happen to catch the most recent restock of retail boxes on Walmart.com? The restock that took place within [at least] the last 1/2 hour or so since the time of my posting this....?? If so, I was just curious; was the Max Limit on ordering, (2) boxes?? Because that's all that I was allowed to add to my cart, and then ironically, the boxes were GONE! As in...no longer available on the site?

Just wondering if I was...."late to the party"....and, perhaps earlier during the restock, customers were allowed to add/check out, with (12). I know that that's usually the max quantity to check out with, when it comes to sports cards...? Maybe they set limits on this particular restock? Thanks!

Soooo....Megas & Retail boxes are back in stock on WM, but,...they're markedly more expensive! And yes; they're sold/fulfilled by WM; not,...third party...!!?!?

I believe Megas were initially released @ around $55/per, and now they're $85!!?! Retail boxes were $119, and now they're $175!?!?

My hypothesis with the price increase; WM has gone through their allocation @ prerelease inventory, and now...their offering price(s) are going to be what Poopnini will be releasing them at...direct to public. Just a thought?

Megas are currently selling around $95-100 on ebay/FB so I think there's still some minimal profit for flippers. My curiosity is; how much potential remains @ the $85 price point,....for RIPPERS (eg. me & you!!) I suppose it still has to be comparably better than the $1000+ per, Hobby box....!?

Thoughts? Input?

as far as ripping, pack man did an 11 blaster vs hobby box rip yesterday or the other day and the blasters were markedly better, which technically for the prices, you can get 20+ blasters for the price of a hobby box so its definitely a better floor. Hobby just has the ceiling with better potential parallels but if you're just looking for a silver, green or ice then i'd go retail all the way.

Megas were available for $54.98 this morning. Woke up and checked phone, saw it was available for adding to cart but kept saying OOS once trying to buy. Tried a few times, somehow got an order of 4 in, then went back to bed lol. Was pretty groggy, surprised I even got an order in given that it kept saying OOS. But I’ve learned from Panini, try a few times because you never know.

I managed to get 38 retail boxes when they were @ the $119.98 price, but couldn't land a SINGLE, MEGA @ the $55 price point! Added to cart, multiple times, but by the time I hit checkout...12-15 seconds later; ALL GONE! And I've been trying (more or less) all day as they've been going in & out; to no avail.

Being a complete neophyte on how WM's restocks & pricing are assigned (ie; WM's own stock vs. 3rd party supplying, pricing, etc.) I went ahead and cancelled my $85/boxes, as I am told via a FB group; those specific boxes were misrepresented by WM as being "sold & fulfilled by Walmart", when in fact they were/are....3rd party, fulfilled.

Still hoping to get some Megas at cost, but if it's gotta' be Retail Boxes for me, from here on out for 23-24 Prizm,...so be it.

My WM Megas arrived. Outside of Pink Ice, there are Glitter prizms as well as Teal Ice numbered to 225. Some people have said they are in stores too so watch out.

On a side note, so stupid of Panini to make so many numbered parallels for Retail. They should have made two (Red and Blue Seismic) to like 499 and 199 and have them hit at a lower rate. It's just dumb having so many exclusives per SKU.

$175 is way over MSRP on 24 count.

Not that most of them aren't worth $5 or less but in the past 24 count also has had 1 auto per box.
