Jinxing happens in football all the time.

Not in baseball and not to the Dodgers.

Go (American) blue and white!

There's still time for San Diego to move their baseball team to Oakland for opening day, 2026.
Is he the same guy who had the butt plug shirt on for the Big Dumper?

Such a classic performance from Yamamoto. You just have to appreciate them on the rare occasion the analytics department allows it.

As a Jays fan, that was an absolute clinic that Yamamoto put on. Dude even stuck around to clean the Dodgers' dugout after the game (actually!).

I bet MLB loves having the Dodgers there, but I will bet anything they don't want them winning this year, if they do I think there is going to be a serious backlash with the "buying a championship" and it will result in worse attendance and interest from the smaller and mid market teams

I don’t think the 2025 World Series will impact 2026 mid/small market teams’ attendance much, if at all. I can’t think if a year when the previous season’s Champion effected attendance on mid/small markets. I just don’t see the correlation.

It doesnt happen, the Angels have sucked for a decade+ and they still sell 3 million seats a year. Casuals will always stream in for the entertainment factor. The local economy and demographics play a big part into attendance.

Best thing about the WS is when stories like this come out. Still rooting for the Jays, but now a Yamamoto fan, too.

I wonder how many of that 3M are there for the visiting team.....30%-40%?

Red Sox, Yankees, Mets, etc always draw well.

I dunno, what if Analytics Dept. ran the #s and responded “keep him out there no matter what!”

That ump is making it look like amateur hour out there. Too big of a stage to make a terrible call like that. AND late? Inexcusable.

I think he's got money on the Dodgers. It should be 1 -0 Blue Jay's now if it wasn't for another horrible call by an umpire. Need ABS now!

37 pitches for Glasnow, 35 for Max through 2.
I'd say each can go 75 more, which would be enough for one, the other, or both to go the distance, if they can take Yamamoto's lead from Saturday.
