Changes all the time. A few of the more popular brands in the northeast I've come to like with consistently good beers across the board are Brooklyn brewery and Long Trail brewery from Vermont.

Did anyone ever get a hold of one of those 99 packs? I remember talking about them a while back. I think it was made by Austin Beerworks. I never seen them around my area, but heard about em.

Easy: Delirium Tremens, and it ain't close.

Also like: Blue Moon.

Seven years of living in Europe helps though.

Yup don't forget - Dark Horse Double Crooked Tree & Plead The 5th. Also Goodnight Bodacious from Shorts is a good Black IPA that just came out recently.

I just picked up a 4 pack of Double Crooked Tree and Plead the 5th along with Night Tripper from Arbor Brewing and I found another 6 pack of Hopslam last night for cheap, $17. Had Goodnight Bodacious last night at the bar, but havent found any bottles yet?

One great beer that I've had trouble finding the last few years is from Magic Hat, Howl black as night lager it is called. Ordinarily I am not a fan of Magic Hat brews but this one in particular is very good, should anyone come across it.

Very good shandy. Lately I've been drinking these. Very good and tuff to find. They just started selling them in Jersey and are only around for a bit.

Anyone ever had Dark Horse Double Crooked Tree IPA? This beer is an ass kicker at 12% ABV. Very syrupy body, piney as hell...but amazing.

They have it here locally. Not hoppy enough for me but still solid

Yeah, once you get to that high of an ABV, it's difficult for the malt to not start stealing the show from the hops.

But if you like the bigger beers, this is a good one.
