As a player have to respect Newton for what he can do on the field. But otherwise you can't respect him can't even call him a man. He's a punk. He's what 27-28 years old and still acts like a immature punk who throw's a fit when some says or does something he does not like. The punk has been in the NFL 5-6 years now long enough to grow up and act like a man.

He's 28...

He has had 28 TD and 24 int in the last year and 7 games.. QB rating around 77

Yes he has the Ability to run .. Which is a massive weapon...

But this guy has been beat up more then anyone...

Being able to run is coming to an end very quickly IMO

And his throwing stats have been Brutal last year and half ...

Then you add his attitude when things go bad...

You put it all together. i think in the next few years we will seen an implosion of cam newton..

Maybe he will shock everyone and have 5-6 great years.. But my bet is he becomes an average QB in that same time frame. Body breaks down is best bet.. And when he can't do the things he used to.. He will act like a fool and cause all kinds of issues...

His fall will be pretty fast. I don't think he has really put in the energy to study the art of being a QB. He has always had his superior athletic ability to fall back on. Once he loses the threat to run, he will be a pretty crappy QB. The safety and spy linebacker can now spy throwing lanes and bait him into INTs. He peaked a couple of years ago. I really don't know if he has 5-6 more years left. His current contract runs through 2020 with an opt out after next year. He will be 31 in 2020. I can see a scenario where the Panthers walk away at that point, contingent of course if they plan for ti and draft a QB.
